Larkins case is interesting. If I was Detroit Id just let him sit there. "I signed an 8 year deal with a NMC. Heres my list of 10 teams that have no cap space"

Until we get confirmation Jira is safe from the PHP vulnerability, I don’t think anyone should be opening tickets or assigning me work.
Too many people wanna split this up. Enjoy the good times. Let it ride!
(They will split it up eventually. Its a long season. And my hope is a 2C at the TDD)

Are the Edmonton Oilers becoming defensive juggernauts?
ALT Shot map from Edmonton Oilers at San Jose Sharks, October 10, 2026. All Fenwick shots, all players, score and venue adjusted. Edmonton’s expected goals total is 4.65 and San Jose’s is 1.15.
Pass. The Oilers need to let cap space accumulate and aim higher.
Thanks to a humbling start for both Connor Zary and the Flames, things have degenerated to the point where the 25-year-old was placed on waivers.

Oilers are outshooting teams 63-12 with Draisaitl on.
I seriously had to double check this. 63-12?! Goals 5-1 there.

$15m to help get a generation of kids hooked on gambling is a choice.
LeShame.
SCOOP: LeBron James will be paid $15 million per year under his endorsement deal with Polymarket.
That's roughly $11 million more than the 76ers will pay him this season to play basketball.

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
Lots of projections for the Oiler lately... IMO they fixed the lack of bottom 6 depth. The goaltending is a wild card but also improved. To me they arent contenders yet because they will need to add a top 3F, a river pusher, and be right. But this is solvable.

Oilers fans seeing Holloway and Broberg become assistant captains (they needed cap space to sign Jeff Skinner)
Robert Thomas will become the 25th captain in Blues history; Colton Parayko, Philip Broberg, Jake Neighbours and Dylan Holloway will serve as assistant captains. #stlblues stlblues.me/467I7H4

That’s right:
“Economic sovereignty is built long before a trade negotiation begins. It happens when someone starts a company in Toronto rather than moving it to Silicon Valley. When that company can raise enough capital to remain Canadian. When it scales from 100 employees to 10,000. When its founders become investors and finance the next generation. When Canadian companies own technology, brands, intellectual property, manufacturing capacity and supply chains that the rest of the world actually needs.”
