We’re not free until the most vulnerable of us are free. If my danger really makes you safe, then you’re my oppressor.

This video is from the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Greasy Grass.
Stop using us as props to celebrate hollow victories while we’re still dying under occupation. It was a Democrat president who sent in the military at Standing Rock.
Two wings of the same imperialist bird.

Being both anarchist and indigenous…
There’s no colonial government, no political system, no political party that’ll ever liberate me.
I’m a political enemy and I will not aid in keeping this oppressive system alive.
Let it die, as you would someone like me.

This land is thousands of years older than the 250 year old settler state. Celebrating a token Native who has agreed to be the smiling face of her people’s genociders isn't progress. It’s deeply offensive.
The clapping happening over this terrible walk-back is funny. He *had to answer that question and do it in a way that didn’t betray Obama’s contribution to his campaign.
It’s not impromptu. This is a question you’ll be expecting when you’ve criticized a man rallying for you.

You are allowed to imagine a political system in which your rights aren't up for grabs every couple of years. Where you don't have to slave away just to get by. You are allowed to dream bigger than capitalism.
If you think that this is about illegal immigration then I got a bridge to sell you.

It’s baffling to me that most of you forget what land you’re on, and through what means it was forcibly acquired and sustained.

ISRAEL HAVE JUST BOMBED AN EMERGENCY TENT IN GAZA
PEOPLE HAVE BEEN KILLED
THIS IS FUCKING EVIL
WHEN ARE THE PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD GOING TO WAKE THE FUCK UP AND START PROTESTING IN THE MILLIONS
THIS EVIL HAS TO BE STOPPED
ITS UP TO THE PEOPLE TO DO IT

Dawg, my dad being cranky sometimes when I was a kid is not the same as Obama being a war criminal.

this is not a victory. it makes me so sick that i have to consider this a bad thing because the guy he lost to thinks netanyahu is “too pro-palestine”
It doesn’t make any of you a little queasy when a politician, in a supposed secular government, brings up some Abrahamic god every few fucking sentences?
When you listen to James Talarico, you realize that last night's results were not just a rejection of Trump and Israel's Iran war, but also a rejection of a Democratic Party led by people like Biden, Blinken, and Sullivan:
"I've never taken money from AIPAC, and I'm not taking money from AIPAC in this campaign. Seeing what's happening in Gaza makes me sick to my stomach as a teacher, as a Christian, as a human being"
This is his message, and he won in Texas!

we are not forgetting you are a war criminal too
Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.
These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.
POV: An islamophobic & transphobic pastor calls you evil for rightly saying your bigotry threatens vulnerable people.

I don’t think I’m interested in cheering for the ruling class or having fun with gubernatorial upsets.
I’ll cheer for the passing of a revolutionary ballot measure that focuses on the vulnerable though, like people with felonies in Virginia getting back their right to vote.
