MISSION X UK I used to think the world had gone mad. Now I'm convinced it's taking the mickey! Every time I look at the news, there's something else you couldn't make up. Politicians, sport, everyday life, ridiculous decisions. Even the dog wants to move to Mars! 😂 Nothing is too ridiculous to laugh at, and nobody is above having the mickey taken out of them. You have to laugh, otherwise you'll cry! 🤣

The role of the central bankers and the power of monetary policy is becoming widely understood.
Former UK PM Lizz Truss says unelected central bankers wield more power than democratically elected world leaders. She attributes the pound's "massive inflation" and devaluation to money printing by the Bank of England, which she describes as "completely unaccountable". "The Bank of England governor can't be sacked, as I found out, but the prime minister can be." "Why do you think young people can't get on the housing ladder? Again, it's because of the actions of this organisation, and yet nobody will hold them to account."

So a South Korean study finds ordinary plastic straws have a lower environmental impact in 10 out of 16 categories than the supposedly greener alternatives! You really couldn't make it up! If they're genuinely concerned about the environment, why is practically everything we buy wrapped in plastic? Our food, our drinks, even fruit and vegetables! Our oceans are full of microplastics and they've even been found inside human bodies. What is all this doing to our long-term health? I remember being a kid, searching hedgerows for empty glass bottles because you could take them back to the shop and get a few pence. The bottles were worth something, so people collected them! Perhaps instead of obsessing over drinking straws, we should be asking why we abandoned ideas that actually encouraged people to bring their bottles back! #PlasticPollution #Microplastics #Environment #BrokenBritain
🚨NEWS: A new study has shown that Paper Straws are actually worse for the environment than Plastic Straws The study out of South Korea analysed 4 different types of straw and found plastic to have the least environmental impact in 10 of the 16 categories measured Meanwhile paper straws were found to generate over six times more carcinogens than standard plastic, along with double the impact on environmental acidification Ban the paper straws Bring back plastic

Thin gruel for bill payers as the Chancellor announces he will cut gas bills by up to £50 in the Budget, while average household energy bills are forecast to rise above £2,000 a year in the coming months. Healey plans to scrap standing charges on household gas bills and instead recover them through the unit price consumers pay. #CostOfNetZero

I agree with @JimSpenceDundee. But ultimately, Andy Burnham will be judged on whether he can sort out the big problems - of which there are many.

MISSION X UK Scrapping standing charges on gas is all well and good, but what about electricity? The government keeps pushing everyone towards electric cars and electric heating, so why aren't electricity standing charges being scrapped too? And why should anyone have to pay just for having a supply, even when they're using absolutely nothing? Where exactly does all the money collected from millions of households in standing charges go? We're talking enormous sums of money every year! And here's the interesting bit. They're not actually getting rid of the gas costs. They're moving them onto the unit price! So are we really saving money, or are they just moving the charges around and hoping nobody notices? #StandingCharges #EnergyBills #CostOfLiving #BrokenBritain

MISSION X UK We're constantly told that if a business can't afford to pay a living wage, it isn't a viable business. Well, here's a question. If the government can't afford to pay pensioners anything close to the minimum wage, does that mean the government isn't viable either? How is it that politicians tell us the minimum wage is what people need to live on, yet pensioners, who have worked and paid into the system all their lives, are expected to survive on considerably less? Apparently, businesses must find the money, but when it comes to pensioners, the money suddenly isn't there! Perhaps we should start asking whether it's the businesses that aren't viable or the government! #StatePension #MinimumWage #Pensioners #CostOfLiving #UKPolitics
Here we go again. Above inflation rise to the minimum wage which will cause even more pressure on businesses and feed into inflation. It will make life even less affordable for the lowest paid. Cue the usual "your business isn't viable if you cant afford to pay a living wage" posts from the terminally thick that would struggle to run a bath, never mind a business or employ people. Here, for anyone that can be bothered to educate themselves even in the slightest, is why the circa 50% rise in minimum wage in the last 6 years has made life less affordable and contributed to the cost of living crisis. Minimum wage employee 2020: Total cost to employer (wages + NI + pension): £18,460 Employee can make 18,460 widgets in a year. Cost per widget (ignoring any other cost or profit): £1 Take-home pay: £15,202 Widgets the employee can afford: 15,202 2027 min wage of of £13.20: Total cost to employer (wages + NI + pension): £29,436 Widgets made in a year (same productivity): 18,460 Cost per widget: £1.59 Take-home pay: £22,050 Widgets the employee can afford: 13,868 They’ve had a 45% increase in take-home pay but can afford 9% fewer widgets. This is why you are worse off. Now factor in other business costs, higher corporation tax, higher energy costs, higher risk from new legislation, maintaining pay differential, etc. etc. etc.. Yet the thick "yOuR bUsInEsS iSnT ViAbLe iF yOu cAnT aFfoRd AnOtHeR 50p" brigade are out in force championing this. Just increase the tax free allowance and reduce spending, for f***s sake. They are just driving businesses off a cliff in the UK.

MISSION X UK Country after country, election after election, allegations of vote rigging keep surfacing. Yet how often do we see those responsible held accountable? If elections are being rigged, that's not just fraud. It's stealing democracy from the people! Until allegations are properly investigated and anyone found guilty faces serious consequences, why would those responsible be frightened of doing it again? What's the point of democracy if the people can't trust the results? #ElectionFraud #ElectionIntegrity #Democracy #BrazilElections
Even the East German communists weren’t that shameless when rigging elections.

“The World Health Organization” now states on its website: “COVID-19 vaccination can cause multiple sclerosis due to cross-reactive CD4+ T cells that recognize the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 and myelin peptides.” In other words, your own immune system destroys the nerve pathways and then attacks your brain and spinal cord. This data was available during the lockdowns but was labeled as a “conspiracy theory” and censored by social media.
