$PSI - Trades 2, 3, 4, and 5 each arrived at a critical pivot. #1 arrived today. If the pattern continues, we should see a bounce in semis in the near future. Implications for $SOXX, $SMH, $SOXL, $SOXS HOWEVER ** Complicating matters is that the Leopold Liquidation Zone in $SMH ($541-$549) finally breached after numerous tests leaving price below a very large zone of concentrated institutional activity. In simpler terms, price is below local support. Now $PSI is much more evenly balanced among its holdings, with $NVDA only comprising about 4% of the fund whereas $SMH is about 19% $NVDA. So they two ETFs can diverge to some degree depending on how $NVDA performs. $117.88 is the level to watch for bias on $PSI for the next few sessions. Longs unsafe below it. volumeleaders.com/register

WOW... CCC grade junk bonds continue to accelerate. The market now wants 12.78% p.a. to lend to these businesses. We are close now to surpassing the peaks of 2022 during the last inflation crisis.

Surprising: Moody’s keeps #France at Aa3 w/a negative outlook despite the turmoil. Markets seem far less relaxed: 5y default insurance costs have surged to 103bps, the highest in over a decade. Investors are repricing French risk. Moody’s is standing still. cnbc.com/2026/10/23/moodys-h…

Well, this is quite the turnaround. Chinese equities have staged an enormous reversal after an extraordinary 11-week stretch of selling. And it's not just China. We're seeing some interesting snapbacks across Korea, Singapore and the broader Asian markets around these levels. Markets have a funny way of producing their biggest rallies when sentiment has been beaten into the ground. Whether this is simply a relief rally or something more durable is where things get interesting.

Well, this is getting interesting. First, we had that extraordinary spike in $SOXL trading volume earlier in the week. Now $SOXX has reportedly recorded its second-largest net flow transaction ever. That's an awful lot of activity showing up in semiconductors in a very short space of time. I'm curious what the next few sessions reveal.

Well, this is quite something. French 10-year government bond yields have moved above their US counterparts for the first time in more than a decade. That's not a comparison you see every day. There are obviously differences in inflation, monetary policy and currency, but it's the changing price of sovereign risk that makes this particularly interesting. Worth paying attention to what's happening in European bonds.

$663 MILLION. One day. One ETF. Something interesting just happened in Bitcoin. US spot $BTC ETFs recorded their biggest daily inflow since September, and every dollar reportedly went into BlackRock's IBIT. That single session was enough to erase October's net outflows. Now here's what I'm interested in. Was this a one-off allocation, or are we starting to see institutional demand return? The next few sessions should be interesting.

AI credit risk hits new highs. Oracle’s 5Y CDS tops 300bps, SpaceX exceeds 200bps, Meta hits a record 119bps as future spending commitments reach $825bn. The AI arms race is becoming a financing race. Insuring the dream against default keeps getting more expensive. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Apparently, nobody wants to be neutral anymore. The latest AAII sentiment survey shows bearishness picking up again, while neutral sentiment remains unusually low compared with its historical average. Investors seem increasingly comfortable taking a side, even with so much uncertainty around. Which raises an interesting question. Are you bullish, bearish, or one of the few still sitting on the fence?
