We evaluated on a new benchmark for structured data research, with 50 websites and 4 different realistic use cases. Our agent has 30% higher recall (double SOTA), while costing 3x less for each output row.

This. I acknowledge the real debates where they exist, but so much of the politics surrounding this is just people taking pleasure in being cruel to trans people.
There's gonna be the first trans lady in Congress and this is a fuck you to her specifically I guess my views are not representative of Americans generally, but to me, this feels mean.

"we're spending $1 million in taxpayer money so professors can mail each other little notes?? we have a post office—these toys for academics are emblems of waste" —DOGE, 1969, killing arpanet
I'm not sure why it's so hard for so many smart people to understand what's going on here The crazy science projects are emblems of the waste, they are not the point of the efficiency thrust

That's the challenge with an election defeat. It can be: 1. voters don't like us, and we need to change 2. voters don't like us, and we need to convince them 3. voters don't like us, let opponents be in charge, voters will come around Hard to say which policy or idea is which!
I guess we shouldn’t have passed the Affordable Care Act then, since a majority opposed it at the time. i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/i…

We can laugh at the incoherence of the median voter, but the smart people who talked themselves into supporting all of this are much dumber than the stupid people who went along for the ride

RFK, Jr to be nominated to head HHS. C’mon, you didn’t think the insanity ended with Gaetz, did you? If the American people wanted the government to be run by “normal” people who are not “crazy,” they would have elected Harris.

I do think politically we have to moderate some stances to win, but that doesn’t mean we just concede Republican lies—the borders are not open, drag queen story hour was not a major factor in this election, etc…

Unnormalized log probabilities. It's what half of accounts here are already using anyway!
Unfortunately it is now clear that normies cannot comprehend election forecasts in probability terms. Public understanding requires that we switch to log odds.

the Trump campaign was handing out big signs saying MASS DEPORTATION NOW at the RNC and there are still people who believe they are going to do high-skilled immigration liberalization lol
Our high skilled immigration system is frozen in time and not responsive to the market. We have far more demand for the top talent to work for and start companies here than we let in. It’s a bipartisan issue that politicians don’t touch. Someone like Elon finally could do it.

The scotch will flow on K Street like never before. Invest in overpriced DC steakhouse futures NOW, if it's not too late.
While most folks are going "tariffs, trade wars, 1930s" the trade wonks are speculating on popcorn futures at the show that is about to unfold as every elected representative and business tries to exclude what is important to them / suggest wats to stuff their rivals...

Democrats are not immune to disinformation
The growing chorus of Democrats raising questions about whether Trump won legitimately is now too big to simply ignore. I'm not saying there was fraud-- but I am saying we need public recounts and audits so that people can trust the system.

An undiscussed theme of the immigration debate is that left talks about it in economic terms, and the right in cultural terms. For the highly educated, highly mobile professional class, America has always been multicultural, but many do not want that. Reaganism is gone for good.

Elon Musk won't be "shadow president". He'll be a Trump orbit grifter with free reign over some government fief until he inevitably steps out of line because he wants protagonism, and then he'll get kicked to the curb like everyone else who tries the shadow president shtick
