The reason we say it takes away from femMC is cuz the genre was meant to have her as the protag of the story when she's usually tossed aside for a maleMC in other games. Youre literally doing the thing that caused people to create this subgenre, so yeah no wonder people say that?
A suggestion: when commenting on official EN posts, we should refer to Caleb as our brother to help show the demand for his correct localization. Do it in surveys as well.
