Henning's going live tonight!
Do you have a Bandcamp account? It's free to get one. Anyway, if you do, maybe stop by Thursday evening to my live stream. It's also free. If you RSVP here, you'll be notified of any changes should they occur. Cheers!

Here's a nice interview I did about the new @gentle_hen album and songwriting in general and other stuff. The Wrong Record releases officially on January 17 but you can get a copy right now via pre-order if you'd like.

Nice!
"All the songs have the essential characteristics of Gentle Hen’s music: jangly guitars, sunny pop harmonies and a certain offhanded, day-in-the-life vibe." - Freak Scene #43, by Eric Danton (Boston Globe, Wall Street Journal, Rolling Stone, Paste more)

We're releasing a new collection of songs today over on #BandcampFriday . We decided that @gentle_hen was due for an Odds and Sods, Miscellaneous T, Dead Letter Office, Rag and Bone Buffet type collection of misfits. gentlehen.bandcamp.com/album…
Hello! To stay up to date with us, please follow Henning over on Bluesky: henningo.bsky.social
We just noticed that our first full length album The New You came out 20 years ago! That's back when we were called School for the Dead. These songs are like good old friends.

Aww yeah!
For my show tonight on wrkc.kings.edu (7-9 PM ET) I shine a spotlight on @TheMayfliesUSA AND The dB's. I'll feature @TreasuresofMex @assistant_help @gentle_hen @bottlecapmntn @DotDashDC and 17 others. You can stream from our site, drop on by!
We only have three more CD copies of Be Nice To Everyone. The question is, should we print more?
(we'd love to make vinyl, but it's cost prohibitive)

Fifteen years ago, Brian and Henning filled in on drums and bass with Winterpills opening for St. Vincent at Pearl Street in Northampton, MA. We had just barely heard of St. Vincent at the time. This is the only photo we can find from the night. Waiting to soundcheck.
