5th March is paperback publication day for Unkind - on how #BeKind might not, in fact, be making everyone more kind. Order it here! geni.us/UnkindOrder
I wrote about JK Rowling's new essay and why privileged women still lose something - if not as much as others - by supporting trans activism thecritic.co.uk/what-jk-rowl…
We loved this - such a warm film (my 11yo, who hasn't seen the series, keeps asking to go again)
Queen Elizabeth paid 12 million to an alleged victim of her son Prince Andrew. Jeffrey Epstein the world's biggest children sex trafficker and abuser was coming and going as he wanted in Royal palaces.
The British police provided security for Epstein while he was staying at the Royal palaces.
Prince Andrew is still living in Sandringham protected by Charles the British police and British press. Nobody is asking questions about him.
Meghan cut off her pedophile father immediately and asked about an investigation against him.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson and their daughters took millions of Trafficking Epstein money from young children and the British press and establishment still excuse them nonstop.

‘For Cass, the scandal that has unfolded in Brighton “dwarfs” that of the Tavistock’s Gids. She called on the GMC to immediately suspend Hall. “I really would want to ask why he still has a licence to practise.”’

Learnt about this today octopus.energy/blog/free-ele…
People saying "why didn't Meghan say anything" demonstrating why Meghan didn't say anything. Not believed = mad/attention seeking, believed = somehow implicated
Instead of saying (repeatedly) how much you just want people to be able to calmly and kindly express their views, you could just calmly and kindly express your views, rather like JK Rowling did (assuming you actually have views rather than slogans)

One of the most depressing thing about the Paris riots is seeing distressed women painted as the villains of the piece. This isn't the only woman who has been singled out.

The massive amount of collective resource being wasted on dealing with bad legislation because of the failure of ministers in all parts of the UK to do their job is getting beyond depressing. This is not a time or place where we have such resources to waste.

I think about this a lot.
This description now makes me want to see it
There are bad movies. And then there is ‘Digger.’ It makes you want to carve a little circle around your chair and tunnel your way out of the movie theater, writes Caitlin Flanagan. thefp.com/p/what-do-you-do-w…
11yo has a school project on the Victorians in Cheltenham. He has also recently watched Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure so we're trying to combine the two in a "hilarious" film using 19yo's cardboard tardis and all of us dressing up. It is proving less fun than it sounds.
