The power of #RAS is now well recognized, but if asked whether minimally invasive RNU + Cystectomy + LND + intracorporal conduit was possible 10 years ago, people would have called us dreamers!🤖🦾 #Urology @Uro_Surgeon @kdimitrop1 @GrAthanasiadis

Don’t forget about genetic/familial conditions predisposing to renal and urothelial tumours - it is easy to overlook them unless thought about! Great talk from @BlackmurJames at #BAUS25 👏🏻

AGREE II Quality Assessment of National and International Clinical Practice Guidelines on Prostate Cancer Management by the OPTIMA Consortium out in @EurUrolOpen
sciencedirect.com/science/ar…
This study, part of the OPTIMA project, assessed the quality of 16 national and international clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for #ProstateCancer using the AGREE II tool. The evaluation revealed that guidelines from organizations such as the European Association of Urology and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network scored the highest, while others, like the European Society for Medical Oncology, received lower scores due to methodological issues and limited patient engagement.
Overall, the findings highlight that while many CPGs maintain high quality, there is variability, and improvements are needed to ensure consistency and better applicability across all guidelines.
