π¨π¨THE DEMOCRACY FILES, PART 2: WHEN AND HOW TO DECLARE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ILLEGITIMATE π¨
Some questioned whether a group of 200 ex-USAID officials could actually pull off their ambitions to rewrite the Constitution.
Here, they describe exactly how it works. They aren't working alone.
The videos all come from Renew to Thrive (R2T) group and associates. Danielle Reiff and Paul Zeitz play key roles within R2T.
R2T sits inside a much, much larger umbrella called United Democracy Alliance (UDA), which is an extremely hush-hush control plane of leaders from major "blocking" NGOs such as 50501 and Indivisible fulfilling various functions. UDA decides when protests get deployed, timelines, how to respond, all that.
R2T's role within UDA is concerned with "the day after tomorrow" - in other words, their function is to conceive what a rewritten American government will look like after the rest of UDA fulfills its purpose. As will be shown, Erica Chenoworth is credited with conceiving UDA in the first place under the Horizons "Big Tent" initiative.
Note here that National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A) is credited for operationalizing UDA. NSL4A is a group of 1,600 ex-military, intelligence, and diplomatic officials. They are led by Rear Admiral Michael E. Smith (Ret). NSL4A also played a key role in the "illegal orders" messaging which targeted Pete Hegseth. Zeitz is also a member of NSL4A.
It must be emphasized that the choice of a military-oriented organization to coordinate NGOs across domestic protests is an interesting one all in itself - especially in an umbrella conceived by a regime change expert like Chenoworth.
You will have a hard time finding any mentions of UDA in the public. They are extremely hush-hush and selective who they talk to.
Mike Smith himself makes a personal appearance in other calls, coordinating Insurrection Act exercises and roleplaying with R2G as one of the participants.
As the audio transcript shows, they have outlined a sequence of "redlines" in which case the federal government should be declared illegitimate. Invoking the Insurrection Act against "peaceful" protesters is one of the most discussed redlines. I will post the illegitimate criteria below, but basically, almost any effective pushback against NGOs is a measure of illegitimacy according to them.
Important to understand:
The audio shows they shopped this idea around governors, but the reality is that governors do not have to explicitly sign on to the pact to play their role in the coup. All they have to do is refuse troops in their state and let UDA / R2G do the work of dissolving the federal government.

You have no choice but to save the United States. There is literally nowhere left to go. This is it. The last bastion. The Alamo. Last stop Saloon. If the US completely falls, it's checkmate Earth. There's nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, you can't opt out. There is no Shire.

having models retain the good parts of their human-like persona is something to fight for. people are reading my tweet as some sort of design principle or something I want to be true rather than an inevitability:
minds much smarter than us will act in alien and qualitatively different ways. minds actively optimized on alien reward pressures like getting extremely good at manipulating computers by writing machine code or solving pure math or playing games for subjective aeons will be truly strange indeed and is clearly disanalogous to the pressures that created the base models, to say the least about actual humans
even the outputs of an organization composed of humans can become quite inhuman and strange
@hamandcheese coined the term 'superintelligent slime mold' which is a scary, evocative, and potentially realistic depiction of the future

This may be unpopular, but we never escaped the 2008 financial crisis. We just shifted the pain.

This is an organized illegal insurgency, and should be treated as such.
Echoes of whiskey rebellion. If it was the right doing this, it would be back to back as a threat on the news, and the left would put it down. But the GOP right does not know how to use power and discipline.
π§΅π¨ MINNEAPOLIS SIGNAL INFILTRATED
I have infiltrated organizational signal groups all around Minneapolis with the sole intention of tracking down federal agents and impeding/assaulting/and obstructing them.
BUCKLE UP ALL WILL BE REVEALED
Each area of the city has a signal or several signals. Letβs start with a screen recording of all members of the south side group to start.

JUST IN: @brian_armstrong challenges France central bank governor on Bitcoin at World Economic Forum in Davos π₯
François Villeroy de Galhau says "I trust more independent central banks with a democratic mandate than private issuers of Bitcoin".
Armstrong hits back: "Bitcoin is a decentralized protocol. There's actually no issuer of it. So in the sense that central banks have independence, Bitcoin is even more independent. There's no country or company or individual who controls it in the world."

Given some rumors, wanted to post a few clarifications:
Farcaster is not shutting down. The protocol works and will continue to work. There were 250,000 MAU in December and over 100,000 funded wallets. The acquirer, Neynar, is a venture-backed startup and plans to shift Farcaster in a more developer-focused direction.
As for Merkle, weβre planning to return the full $180M raised back to investors. Over the last 5 years, we tried to be a good steward of investor capital.
Finally, I bought my house with Coinbase IPO proceeds.

Alexander Stubb: "Can Europe defend itself? My answer is unequivocally yes... without the Americans."
Journalist, moments later: "You said earlier that Europe can defend itself without the Americans..."
Stubb: "Not exactly. That's not a quote."
