Absolute, together with @IITKgp, has been selected for the first cohort of the Quad’s AI-ENGAGE initiative (Advancing Innovations for Empowering NextGen Agriculture) to put AI to work in agriculture. The initiative brings research institutions from India, the United States, Japan and Australia together to apply AI to shared agricultural challenges. Our project, Smart Scout, is an AI-enabled computer-vision system designed to help farmers see lodging risk, crop damage, and yield potential through the season, starting with soybean fields. We are working together with IIT Kharagpur across research and development, pilot trials, validation and knowledge transfer, with a focus on accurate and usable outputs under field conditions. INERA, our agricultural biotech arm, brings a practical farming perspective into the process. Kansas State University (USA), Kobe University (Japan) and the University of Southern Queensland (Australia) are part of the consortium. AI is already part of how we discover and design biology through our Nature Intelligence Platform and Nature+. AI-ENGAGE is where our work on AI-led agriculture goes further. Agriculture’s next advances will come from biology and AI working together, and that is where we are building.

For nearly a decade, Absolute has explored nature's extraordinary diversity, decoded its mechanisms and translated that knowledge into new molecules and products, creating alternatives to synthetic pesticides, advancing human health and reinventing everyday materials. For the past 12 months, we've been quietly building the next chapter: combining that biological foundation with AI to accelerate discovery, guide experimentation and bring entirely new possibilities to life. On 15 September at 9 a.m. PT, our Founder & CEO, @Khareagam will be speaking at the Silicon Valley AI Summit at Google Bay View, alongside @bettslacroix of Retro Biosciences, @SuryaGanguli of Stanford and @vanessaparli of Stanford HAI, exploring how AI can accelerate discovery across biology, materials and medicine. The wider summit brings together leaders including @ymatias (Google Research), @DaphneKoller (insitro), @astroteller (X, the Moonshot Factory), and @PeterDiamandis (XPRIZE). Our ambition is to turn a deeper understanding of life into healthier, longer lives, and a healthier planet. We're expanding the team building this future. If you're passionate about AI, biology and creating things that matter at a civilisational scale, message us. Let's build something consequential. #Absolute #AIForScience #ImaginationInAction #Bioscience #StanfordHAI

Progressive #FPOs are the need of the hour as these are preferred by the industry for good quality raw materials. Their numbers can be increased through capacity building, technology adoption, and handholding when needed. - Ashudeep Garg, Sr VP, @go_absolute

Experts had suggested that India couldn’t possibly feed an additional 200 million people by 1980. Dr. Swaminathan’s contributions helped in prevented the widespread famine and by 1980s, India’s yield was so bountiful that government schools had to be converted into granaries.
