Trying to explain #AmericanCraftBeerWeek to friends:
No, that’s not craft beer.
No, that’s not even considered beer.
No, that used to be craft beer but it got disqualified.
Yeah, it was kicked out, but it’s still tastes really good.
I’m sorry - try to focus...

Today we celebrate the life of Peder Ian Pederson. 3 years ago, Austin lost one of the brightest members of the brewing community. Anyone who was fortunate enough to enjoy a pint with Peder knew what a special, caring, and talented individual he was. (1/many)

Due to #COVID, other states have opened up direct-to-consumer shipping. Among these are the largest distilling states including NY, CA, & KY. Texas is now the largest state to prohibit direct-to-consumer shipping of spirits.

IMHO on the subject of lack of diversity in brewery/brand ownership, focus needs to also be on what those who control the means of distribution are doing. My lived experience is that they currently get a free pass as everyone assumes they have a passive role...

Our ownership of our food truck has allowed us to reopen for patio service. The majority of Texas breweries do not have that luxury.
