I think since Android runs on Arm hardware the 'definitive' Googlebook experience will be on @Snapdragon hardware. They also offer better battery life (and performance on battery) vs the competition.
Well, this doesn't sound great. It's going to be really interesting to see how ARM and x86 Googlebook variants compare. xda-developers.com/google-wa…

Amazing to see a GenieX use case demoed on stage at @Snapdragon Summit by @_JoshuaTimothy.
This is exactly what we built GenieX for: bringing the latest GenAI models to @Qualcomm devices and turning them into real, useful experiences for everyday workflows.
In this demo, creators could turn hours of footage into organized, searchable clips — all running locally on their own machine.
Today was exciting! I had the chance to join Judd Heape, VP of Product Management and Multimedia at @Qualcomm, on stage at @Snapdragon Summit to share how agentic AI has taken the friction out of my video editing workflow.
Using on-device visual language models running on the Snapdragon Hexagon NPU with GenieX, my footage is automatically analyzed and turned into a searchable database. Now I can spin up new DaVinci Resolve projects in seconds, with clips already sorted into categorized bins.
Being able to search for clips by what's actually in the footage saves me hours, and that means more time for the creative side of the work.

I have all of these cores on my work Intel system but still get beat by a 12-core @Snapdragon X Elite system - wish I could just get an 18-core Elite Extreme for my work system, I would be so much more productive!!

this tribute to Catherine O'Hara at the Emmys was soooo sweet wow. and the camera cuts to Martin Short and Steve Martin crying...I'm not okay. her on-screen children Macaulay Culkin, Annie Murphy, and Dan Levy spoke so highly of her
Macaulay: "She was encouraging. She was warm. She was funny. But the word that I think of is 'momma.' She was my mom. She was our mom. And by extension, she was all of our mom. She may have forgotten me...twice! But we will always remember her."
