I don’t care how popular or unpopular it ever is, I’ll rep the Ron Paul revolution for the rest of my life. That guy is and was right about everything.
Great project for plebs (and aristocrats for that matter) to up their game around Bitcoin security and Bitcoin generally
Has been a blast watching it unfold

Strong opinions, loosely held
Let’s talk Happiness! 😊
Beyond fulfillment of personal needs, what makes you happy? Do we need other people to be happy?

GFY Joe. Warning people of a coming storm is a lot different than bitching.
Bright side?
Hot girls are making a big-time comeback
Extremely rare rant incoming.
I swear to fucking god, I am at an absolute loss for words over the destruction at work here. I grew up in the 80s and 90s; I believed in feminism then. All I wanted was the *opportunity* to become whatever I dreamed of - and I GOT it. We all did! By the early 90s, the sky was the limit for capable people of any race or sex. The world wasn't perfect, but it was damn-near halcyon days for equality [of opportunity].
The last decade has not been kind to those hard-won gains (no need for a long rant on that, but *gestures at world*). But now, this minority of absolute psychotic women is going to destroy everything we fought for and won.
The worst part? I can't even disagree with those saying this whole spectacle proves women can't be trusted with positions of power or responsibility. The amount of shame I feel for my gender is horrifying. I know it's not all women, or even a majority - but it's apparently more than just a few attention-hounds mugging for the camera, too.
And I genuinely do not understand how we got here. Or maybe I do, but, again, no need for that long rant; better to say that I can't believe we're here, and I am heartbroken over it (however, this former attorney will nonetheless manage to "emotionally handle" it). FFS.
The big thing Tone misses is that to be a Bitcoiner, pro or anti 110, requires that you contemplate the separation of money & state
That is a 'big idea' that requires either a touch of meglomania, psychosis, delusion or simply balls or maybe all of the above
In my opinion, the only one who could be working with the Feds is Luke Dashjr (The Ringleader).
- Kratter, Mechanic, Tomer, Hill & Guida are suffering from "Megalomania" which is a common syndrome in Content Creators w/ a God Complex (also true for Devs)
- Knut, Bechler, Matteo, BigSean, Asanoha are in the 'Useful Idiots' category who might still realize they are being fooled.
- Simon Dixon & Jack Kruse are in the "everything is a conspiracy" so Bip110 good, Core Bad... The End!
- Fred Krueger gets his own category cause he is just there for the clicks and engagement
- Hodlonaut is actually in ALL 4 of the above! (Very Impressive) - Maybe even all 5, confidential informants & undercover feds look exactly like him (Every Time)
- Nick Szabo & Beautyon are in the category of "Oh No, we have to pre-emptively comply with future government regulations"
- Bob Barnett gets his own category of "Why the F*ck are you still pro Bip110, you know how Retarded it is, you actually understand how bitcoin works"
* If I did not call your name, you were not worth mentioning, but you probably believe that if Bip110 Wins you will be a future opinion leader and relevant!
** I didn't feel like tagging any of the above (as most of us have each other blocked anyway), but TRUST ME, I will say it to your FACE! You are the biggest danger to Peoples Life Savings this Decade and probably for years to come!
Boosting a banger.
nice work @marsspitsbarz
Agree with @MrHodl that 110 has been a great learning exercise, particularly for those of us who were not around for the Blocksize War.
Today, what’s front and center is the reminder: ‘ you don’t wanna die for your principles, you want the other guy to die for his’
Why I Support BIP-110
The BIP-110 debate is being framed as a technical argument.
I think that's the wrong level of analysis.
The question isn't whether a particular proposal reduces spam, improves efficiency, or changes OP_RETURN limits. Those are implementation details.
The real question is this:
Who gets to shape Bitcoin's future?
Bitcoin has become increasingly accepted by the financial establishment, but largely as digital gold. An ETF. A portfolio allocation. A store of value.
That version of Bitcoin is compatible with the existing financial system.
A Bitcoin that evolves into a neutral global monetary network, one capable of settling value outside traditional sovereign control, is a very different proposition.
Today, Bitcoin isn't an existential threat to the fiat system.
Ten or fifteen years from now, if adoption continues, it could become one.
If you believed that future was possible, wouldn't you prefer to influence Bitcoin's trajectory long before it reached that point?
That's why I think debates like BIP-110 matter. Not necessarily because of the proposal itself, but because they reveal a deeper struggle over governance and direction.
The same thought crosses my mind when I see large industry consortiums organizing around Bitcoin's future, whether it's quantum resistance or other protocol changes.
Corporate incentives and Bitcoin incentives are not always the same.
A corporation may be perfectly happy with Bitcoin as a $20 trillion digital commodity.
Many Bitcoiners believe its ultimate purpose is something much larger: a sovereign monetary network.
Those are two very different end states.
The technical debates are important. But I suspect the strategic debate -who ultimately steers Bitcoin, and toward what destination - is the one we'll look back on as defining this era.
Hey @AdamMGrant
@brian_trollz & @GrassFedBitcoin have a lot in common.
They both want to replace the dollar and move toward a Bitcoin Standard.
They’re using really mean words against one another currently, perhaps even toxic words
Suggestions?
