There is another marketplace problem I had not really thought about before looking deeper into @vangrid_io How do you let a buyer review physical data without giving away the product before payment? Imagine spending time travelling somewhere Capturing the requested environment Uploading the result Then the buyer downloads the raw footage before accepting anything Now the contributor has already delivered the valuable asset But payment has not happened That creates a bad incentive structure Vangrid handles this by letting the buyer review a watermarked preview while the raw capture remains unavailable The full data is unlocked through the acceptance flow I think this is a very underrated part of building markets around digital representations of physical work You need both sides protected The buyer needs enough information to decide whether the submission fits the brief The contributor needs confidence that reviewing the work does not mean giving the full asset away for free So the marketplace has to balance • Previewability • Data ownership • Buyer verification • Contributor protection • Payment finality This becomes even more important once the output is not simply a photograph The buyer may eventually receive reconstructed 3D assets and the underlying capture after acceptance The network therefore has to coordinate information rights as well as money Crypto marketplaces often focus almost entirely on payment But when the thing being sold is data, controlling when and how that data becomes accessible is part of the economic system too
