holy shit we’re actually getting autonomous electronics labs pcbs are just the first step though, the level of precision and dexterity needed to automate physical electronics work is insane, and the possibilities beyond pcbs are even more exciting huge props to the team for pulling this off
PCBs made in America. Twice as fast as Shenzhen. Today @CircuitHub is unveiling The Grid, our factory-scale robot in Massachusetts that builds circuit boards on demand. No changeovers, no per-design setup. Prototypes and production batches, fully automated.

100000% there’s a real gap in the physical sciences but approaching autonomous labs only through a bio lens (biotech + pharma) is shortsighted. there are huge leaps to be made in other scientific fields (like physics, electronics, mat sci) & they could use a little love too
While AI has advanced in mathematics, we believe there’s still a major gap in the physical sciences. @warpsciences co-founders @kevinweil and Solomon Reisberg joined Lightspeed Partner @guruchahal to discuss how their labs could generate the experimental data needed to advance scientific AI. The company recently emerged from stealth and is building US chemistry labs to make research compounds for biotech and pharma companies. “First be the hands, then build the nervous system, and then over time become the brain,” says Warp’s CEO Kevin. The plan starts with expert chemists making molecules for customers. Cameras and sensors would record the work, helping Warp automate tasks and train models to improve how compounds are made. More capable labs could let researchers pursue ideas for new medicines that time and cost currently put out of reach. The experiments could also produce more evidence for scientific AI to learn from. Thank you to Kevin and Solomon for joining us! the most awesome team at rehearsals released human behavior bench today & you’d be doing yourself a disservice not to check it out. it’s about time we saw more human interaction & decision making benchmarks on the model cards! 🌟
Everyone’s hyped up about digital twins and simulation technology but nobody is building transparent benchmarks in the space. Today, in partnership with @GoogleDeepMind and @kaggle, we’re launching the first public human behavior benchmark. Why is this important? How did we make it? Read 🧵

Sell all ur data but hey there's free pizza
We're giving away $1,000,000 of pizza right now all across the U.S. It's pizza night, on us. To celebrate the launch of Hark Pro. Download the app and tell Hark to order a free pizza. hark.com/download Instructions in thread to order yours now.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Users report that Hark's $1M pizza promotion frequently fails because the $30 DoorDash gift card does not apply at checkout, sometimes resulting in full charges. Hark acknowledged a temporary bug and said affected users would be contacted. hark.com/pizza x.com/hark_labs/stat… x.com/adcock_brett/s… x.com/rickymay/statu… x.com/brianonorio/st…

perhaps doing things that don’t scale was the moat all along
I am starting to think in anti-scale. if something can be done by anyone using Claude, it’s probably zero alpha. instead, what’s an approach that is too much effort for everyone else? do that

the first of its kind!!
Introducing DeepRSI, a new industry standard for measuring recursive self-improvement. On preexisting benchmarks, tasks are contributor-based and short-horizon (~12 hrs). In DeepRSI, we push agents to work 48 hours on ML tasks actually derived from ongoing proprietary research.

He's lowkey onto something
Unlike bio, physical sciences/engineering have a powerful simulation infrastructure so "simulator + lab in the loop" is the paradigm. very rich idea space.

the best way to start my tuesday morning, @shelbynewsad TY for organizing!
last week, @CompoundVC, hosted the biggest data factory event ever. @benchling hosted their amazing space and talked about the future of bio with AI Scientists @scale_AI spoke about recent SOTA benchmarking judgement built around data sales @FabioZB_I talked about the Polyphron tissue foundry @contra showcased their work on creativity training @TryBrickroad and @Freeman_Lewin are some of the most sophisticated data sellers @QuickrBio wow'd us with their better, faster, cheaper platform Dynamical Systems for materials science data factories and Ambitious for their healthy bill of materials. So much happening here. TY @shantenuagarwal for organizing and @nlarusstone for speaking!
