Never had such issues with Termux, and even the wake-up lock for me was optional. My sessions still keeps running in the background with wake-up lock off.

Use that database for your own project and tell me what happens when 440 people are concurrently streaming data.

You don't need to know everything before you start building. Start with what you know. Learn what you don't. Use the tools available to you. Keep improving. Every great developer started somewhere. The important thing is to start.

In August 2025, Google announced a new requirement: starting in 2027, every Android app developer must register centrally with Google before their software can be installed on any device. Not just Play Store apps: all apps. This includes apps shared between friends, distributed through F-Droid, built by hobbyists for personal use. Independent developers, church and community groups, and hobbyists alike will all be frozen out of being able to develop and distribute their software. Registration requires: Paying a fee to Google Agreeing to Google's Terms and Conditions Surrendering your government-issued identification Providing evidence of your private signing key Listing all current and all future application identifiers If a developer does not comply, their apps get silently blocked on every Android device worldwide. RIP IN ADVANCE, ANDROID OPEN SOURCE.

Yeah all good. Though I'm sad about one more person losing interest in VC.

I'm not seeing any bids or interests from any club in the Bundesliga.

Vibe coding is changing how we build software. You describe what you want to build. AI helps you write the code. You test, refine, and improve. But here's the key. You still need to understand the problem you're solving. AI is a tool. Your thinking is the real advantage.

Yes GPay has been working in Nigeria for web payments. The contactless pay feature at POS, where you just place your phone on the POS machine to make a payment is the feature that's actually making everyone including banks to start talking about it again. It appears more Nigerian traditional banks are now picking interest in the technology.

If you were to go back into blogging today, what niche would you see as still reasonable despite AI? My guess is none.
