Thanks @Delta and @swissportNews for spending an extra hour waiting at the gate while someone figures out the fuel paperwork multiple times. Ugh!

Generative AI Is Killing the Internet

It seems like just yesterday, but doing the math in my head I realize it was now over 30 years ago. I was fortunate to be in college when the World Wide Web was first created.

Hey @tonyromo - can you at least pretend like we don’t know what team you’re cheering for? It makes it painful to listen! @NFL @CBS #wildcardweekend

This is an outrage. MN PCA Commissioner Laura Bishop basically gets canned by state senate for working on clean car Rules? Truly? She (and our state) deserves better. Commissioners deserve better. strib.mn/3yCZ2hP

Political intimidation of a highly qualified appointee (@lbishopw)? Feels like there is a policy retribution story here - @MPRsMikeMulcahy @PatKessler @GilletteTPT @larryrjacobs #mnleg

Commissioner Bishop is the only commissioner who has had a "performance review." A 2 1/2 hour review. No commissioner should be intimidated by the constant threat of firing when some legislators disagree with some policy decisions. #ImWithLaura

So proud that @lbishopw is our @MnPCA commissioner - strong qualifications, including as business leader and a Chamber leader who knows how to get things done! #mnleg #mnpca #imwithlaura

Just last month, Commish @lbishopw announced new grants to help businesses purchase electric utility trucks while supporting a MN grown company, Zeus in White Bear Lake. Growing jobs, protecting our environment #ImWithLaura

Longtime listener, third-time caller. Had the pleasure of speaking with @Marketplace’ @kairyssdal from the comfort of my closet studio. Talked art making, money making, and the daydreams of future tours. marketplace.org/2020/12/09/h…

One reason why I haven’t yet gotten a PhD... I want to be more able (and willing) to change my mind!

This is not a subtweet of anyone in particular and it's going to annoy some people since I have a lot of PhD followers/friends and also I'm a stubborn guy myself but...one thing I'm noticed is that once someone gets a PhD, it become 10x harder to convince them they're wrong.

We tend to think of forgetting as failure, as something gone wrong in our ability to remember. But researchers hypothesize that our brains purposefully work to forget information in order to help us live our lives. ow.ly/S6Z050zq8lO

Forget thinking about forgetting as failure. Researchers now say that ridding our brains of irrelevant details and outdated information helps us better navigate our ever-changing world.
