RE: SENATOR ROCHAS OKOROCHA’S REMARKS ON PETER OBI’S SINGLE-TERM COVENANT
We have reviewed Senator Rochas Okorocha’s comments on Channels Television’s *Politics Today*.
We accept his description of Peter Obi as “a fantastic gentleman; clear in his head.” On the claim that a single term is “a four-year gambling,” we respectfully disagree.
Section 135(2) of the 1999 Constitution provides that a President shall leave office after four years and may seek a further four years. In law, “may” is permissive, not mandatory. A single term is therefore constitutional. It is not a gamble.
Nigeria already tested an eight-year tenure between 2015 and 2023. The result was rising inflation, a weakened naira, soaring public debt, widespread poverty, and insecurity across the country. That is the real balance sheet of prolonged tenure without performance.
Peter Obi’s offer is a performance bond, not a gamble. He has pledged to serve one term, to be judged strictly by results, and to hand over power in 2031 in recognition that it is the turn of the North. This is sacrifice for national stability.
Leadership is measured by impact, not duration. Nigeria’s problem has never been insufficient time. It has been the repeated failure to use time well. Mr. Obi proposes to reverse that culture: one term dedicated entirely to delivery.
When a man entitled to eight years voluntarily chooses four and invites the nation to judge him by results, he is not gambling. He is sacrificing.
This is not a gamble. It is a rescue mission with a deadline.

Mallam Ibrahim Hussain Abdulkarim

From East to North, From South to West, the message is clear “Rig and Die”.
Nigerians are frustrated, hungry, and dying, and the only way to change government is through the ballot and you say their votes will not count?

The reality on the ground: This was President Tinubu’s arrival in Kaduna earlier today. People were chanting “Bamayi Bamayi,” and look at how the road was clear for him to pass.
I think he needs to go back and watch how the good people of Kaduna used to welcome the late President Muhammadu Buhari, then compare it to this.
Those around Mr President should better tell him the truth, this is a sign of total rejection.

You Have Campaigned For Tinubu Time And Time Again, And He Has Shown You That He’s a Constant Failure And a Disgrace. Yet, You People Will Still Come Online To Gaslight Us Into Believing That The Country Is Doing Well Under Tinubu. Youths in Uzo-Uwani, Enugu State, Warn Against Election Rigging
In this video one of the youth was seen addressing a gathering of people at Eke Nibo in Uzo-Uwani, Enugu State.
He began by saying, “We greet all of you here. Please, we are the youths of Uzo-Uwani, and we have come to inform our people that the youths of Uzo-Uwani are angry. As they say, he who wears the shoe knows where it pinches.”
According to him, the people of Uzo-Uwani go to their farms to cultivate the food that others eat, yet they are now afraid to go to their farms due to insecurity.
Identifying the gathering place as Eke Nibo, he called on God to bear witness to his words, stressing that the youths would not tolerate anyone attempting to manipulate or ste@l their votes.
He also warned youths who might be tempted to allow themselves to be used for election rigging to be prepared to face the consequences. He urged mothers to take the message back to their children.
He concluded with a strong warning that anyone contracted by the APC to snatch ballot boxes should be prepared to face the consequences, adding that those who attempted such acts could put themselves at risk of being sh0t by the youths.
In 2015, @OfficialAPCNg and @officialABAT stole your heart with aggression dressed up in deceitful rhetoric. You are going that path again.
But never with me. There must be moral clarity and logic. Anyway, I taught legal reasoning so I can illogic. No one can deceive me with aggression or deceitful rhetoric

"Whenever I remember that Monday Okoebholo won Asue Ighodalo and Olumide Akpata to become the Governor of Edo State, I kneel down and weep.
Asue Ighodalo and Olumide Akpata are two of the top 20 lawyers in Nigeria, if not top ten.
Distinguished themselves in academics, legal practice and business.
Asue co-founded Banwo and Ighodalo while Olumide helped build Templars with his cousin Oghogho Akpata.
For context,
Banwo and Ighodalo handled Dangote Refinery’s IPO and also the private placement. Deals worth billions of dollars.
Templars once won a $2.5 Billion case.
These law firms print tens of millions of dollars annually in earnings from just professional fees.
It would take a thousand Mondays to make one Olumide/Asue.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Any day could have become the Governor of Edo State. Any day but Monday. 😑
My condolences to the people of Edo." Desire Meziem

My Visit to the Nigerian Air Force Facility
Further to my message yesterday, I visited the Nigerian Air Force facility in Abuja today to formally sign the condolence register following the unfortunate aircraft crash.
The visit gave me another opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made daily by the men and women of our Armed Forces and other security agencies in the line of duty. These courageous Nigerians put their lives on the line to defend our nation and protect our people. We must never take their service and sacrifice for granted.
I extend my deepest condolences to the Nigerian Air Force and to the families, colleagues, and loved ones of those who lost their lives.
May God grant eternal rest to the departed and give their families the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss.
May God continue to protect all those who serve our country. -PO
