@jeff_arendt @kathyireland Just HAD to share on here. Re-reading my favorite author (Patricia Cornell) & shared with her. We’re preparing to take in a kitten from a stray Calico. If only we could get her TNRd (trap/neuter/spay/release) before barn cat day discount. Had her last

Kitten vaccinated, antibiotics for puncture wounds (twice) & he disappeared right before our 3y/o indoor rescue on April 25. Can’t help them all, but we do all we can. Only have a couple that eat regularly. Only kill shelters here; our vet will take some local rescues.

@1pcornwell From "Postmortem": “Oh, yeah. Sure it will. DNA printing’s only gone to trial a couple of times in Virginia. There are very few precedents, very few convictions nationwide—every damn one of them still being appealed. Oh, how far we've come in technology! Re-reading!

@ChrisCuomo @timburchett I dont understand why they don’t just give an IV bolus of K+, & if it’s “inhumane/painful” then sedate with Propofol, or just shut off the vent. What are we missing?

Everything needed for lethal injection is inside a Paramedic’s med bag.

Did you know that Paramedics have everything needed for execution in their drug bag?

For my diabetic Dexcom users with sensitive skin, I just got really helpful tips from my endocrinologist: Flonase application on the sensor site after the alcohol doesn’t just help with adhesion but also with the irritation and swelling that occurs with allergens. Cont’d

It’s really frustrating to type a long message only to have the three part tweet not post beyond the first one this time. At least I could copy and paste!

Milk of magnesia works similarly like calamine lotion! Also, patients have had good results using the sensor UNDER patches. I sometimes tend to sweat off the sensors, so I often use the over patches (not the ones that come with the G7 because they don’t stay adhered to my skin

just the sensor and can’t be peeled off to add a new one). I have really sensitive skin, so using an over patch is a double edged sword.
