It’s just sad. The number of such injuries keeps on increasing while governance bodies have not stopped forcing players to play more & more games.
There’s a clear need for Player Association group to establish some ground rulings because more football only equals less attractive one, more injuries and potential careers being taken away from them.
I wish him a speedy recovery and hopefully he comes back as good as he was.

PSG just handed everyone the ultimate blueprint on how to dismantle Barcelona. I got dragged to the ends of the earth for pointing this out the other day, but the proof is on the pitch.
Barca’s entire system relies on pinning you in your own half, suffocating the midfield, and letting their immense attacking talent inevitably find a goal.
PSG refused to play that game. They were compact, aggressively physical, and refused to sit in a low block. They completely choked Barca’s build-up by relentlessly pressing the goalkeeper and defense, cutting off their flow entirely.
Combine that with a ruthless, high-intensity attack producing about 10 more shots on target than Barca and the result speaks for itself.
Barca has to pick up the pieces, go home, and seriously analyze why PSG is the best team in the world right now instead of them.

What was interesting to me was Flick preserving Rodri for Bellingham and still putting him on. Jude has gotten the better off-him in every match-up so the logic to me is a bit screwed.
Or does this say more about Rodri and his physicality? Unable to handle the positional-centric end to end approach?
