ZIMSEC EXAM FEE SUBSIDY – WHAT'S CHANGING BACKGROUND: • Government helps pay exam fees for students taking ZIMSEC national exams. • Since 2020, costs were shared: Government paid 53% (later 55%), parents paid the rest. THE PROBLEM: • The current subsidy is universal — it helps everyone, including families who can afford to pay. • It doesn't target genuinely vulnerable students. • It's becoming unaffordable for Government given fiscal constraints. THE DECISION: Cabinet approved a review to make the subsidy more targeted and sustainable. PHASED ROLLOUT: • 2027: Subsidy continues for: • Primary and secondary pupils in rural areas (P3 and S3) • Satellite schools • BEAM beneficiaries • 2028: Only BEAM beneficiaries will continue to receive support. BOTTOM LINE: The subsidy will be narrowed over time to focus only on the most vulnerable students, ensuring the national exam system stays financially sustainable.

You are resorting to writing him letters😂😂😂. We told you Zanu PF will.never change. They are all evil.
OPEN LETTER TO VP CHIWENGA: WHY THE BRUTAL "CHINHOYI BATTLE" DEMANDS A STRATEGY RETHINK By Gabriel Manyati Your Excellency, The dust has settled on the 23rd ZANU PF Annual National People’s Conference in Chinhoyi. The marquee tents have been folded, the motorcades have roared back to Harare, and the official communiqués have proclaimed a triumphant display of party cohesion. Yet, for those who observe the raw mechanics of power in Zimbabwe with an unblinking eye, Chinhoyi was not a routine celebration of unity. It was a significant political setback for your camp - a stark, public demonstration of the limits of your current strategic trajectory. I write this open letter not to mock your predicament, nor to draft a eulogy for your political career. Nor is this an attempt to defend President Emmerson Mnangagwa or carry water for his faction. It is written in the spirit of candid, rigorous analytical counsel. You remain one of the most formidable figures in the republic, a man whose place in Zimbabwe’s historical tapestry is forever secured by your decisive role in the November 2017 transition. But power is fundamentally dynamic, and the methods that delivered success in 2017 are proving increasingly ineffective in the political terrain of 2026. The central argument I submit to you is simple: you urgently need deep introspection, a fundamental rethink of your strategy, and greater emotional discipline. Your willingness to challenge party decisions you consider unconstitutional or ill-advised may earn you admirers among those quietly discontented with the party’s direction. However, repeatedly raising objections in party forums without the requisite structural power to secure your desired outcomes does not project strength. It exposes your limitations, exhausts your political capital, and continuously fortifies the positions of those who seek to marginalise you. The Reality Of The Chinhoyi Tactical Setback To understand why Chinhoyi represented such a significant tactical setback, one must look closely at the sequence of documented decisions that preceded and culminated at the conference. The warning signs were visible in the fraught lead-up to the event, notably during the extraordinary Politburo sessions in Harare where you reportedly pushed back against procedural manoeuvres designed to reshape the party’s constitutional architecture. At Chinhoyi, you openly questioned whether certain resolutions, particularly those pushing for structural extensions of presidential authority, genuinely originated from the party’s grassroots cells, branches, and districts. You reminded the leadership of the founding dictum that the voice of the people is the voice of God. Yet, despite your stature, the conference machinery rolled on. The resolutions were adopted, the chairpersons declared consensus, and the dominant faction demonstrated its total grip on the party apparatus. Consider the structural reality established in recent months. The passage and signing into law of the Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 3) Act, 2026, known as CAA3, formally extended presidential terms to seven years, transitional arrangements that directly entrench President Mnangagwa’s tenure through to 2030 while altering presidential selection to a joint sitting of parliament. In Chinhoyi, party resolutions moved to align the ZANU PF constitution with CAB3, effectively deferring elective party processes. Simultaneously, we have witnessed a profound realignment of economic and political influence. The elevation of businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei to the ZANU PF Central Committee and his subsequent entry into the Politburo underscores a deliberate strategy: the consolidation of capital and party control around the executive presidency.

When Mugabe was making provocative speeches at UN, taking land, they were all clapping for him. The result was isolation which led to hunger, strife. The effects are still being felt even today. Mugabe was everwhere international politics. Pray for South Africa. More is coming.

We have a cruel government. They banned elections. So they have nothing to fear now. The only way to free the country is through a revolution.
WATCH | Hi Crime watch. Vanhu varara panze. There are ongoing demolitions and evictions at Warwick Farm in the Lake Chivero area, just after Rydale Ridge. Many families had their household goods loaded into Messenger of Court trucks in the presence of riot police and are being dumped along Oatlands Road. It started yesterday morning, and we don't know when it will end because it is still ongoing. Please keep me anonymous.

In 2023 Voter aparthy was hitting Zimbabwe hard and affecting the prospects of the opposition. Some big wigs in the opposition were discrediting Chamisa making more people see no reason to vote. Chamisa stood firm and assured victory. The agenda was simple, make everyone Vote.

Most People lack morals. I saw it on marry chiwenga plight. Even when there is clear evidence of abuse of judiciary, they ignore it. But why why. As democrats, we must fight for justice, independence of state institutions.
In my humble view, some Zimbabweans believe in mornachical rule, not democracy. It's why they are quick to jump on the bandwagon of "taking turns" to rule, hence the chants from Gushungo, to Shumba Murambwi & now "Gudo Guru!" It's partly why the political crisis continues!
