I was in the room multiple times when President Biden met with and prayed with Catholic bishops.
They didn’t run cameras, because he and those present didn’t want to politicize prayer and encounter for electoral gain.
When Biden lost his second child in May 2015, he prayed nearly all night in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
It’s the same thing he did in 1972 when he lost his daughter and late wife to a drunk driver.
He went to Mass every single Sunday as president, oftentimes next to the parish cemetery of his children, and relied on his faith to guide him through hell and high water.
You might not like his politics, but I encourage you to act with Christian charity towards the sincerity of his faith and take the view of the late Pope Francis, who called him a “good Catholic” in 2021.

We've heard all this tired old stuff before. It's my view that William and Catherine became jealous of (particularly) Meghan and launched a vicious PR campaign designed to make the Sussexs life a misery. My view has been strengthened by listening to innumerable first class British journos confirm it.
Harry told the truth about his family, just as his mother, Princess Diana (who died in mysterious circumstances), did before him. And it is not a pretty tale.
The filth on YouTube, delivered day-after-day, by Tom Sykes, Dan Wooton, Lady C and their ilk is beyond degenerate. Vicious trolling is not a rational, or intelligent way to deal with perceived social problems. But the UK seems addicted to it.
The sheer stupidity of this argument is breathtaking. The lengths some people will go to infantilise Harry and Meghan and absolve them of any accountability would be comical if it weren’t so utterly ridiculous.
These two have made millions publicly attacking the Royal Family, making some of the most cruel and damaging accusations imaginable, many of which have been disputed, challenged or contradicted. And let’s not conveniently forget the mocking of the late Queen. The woman who devoted her entire life to duty, dignity and service.
Yet here you are, dressing them up as paragons of courage and integrity while inventing a William-led PR conspiracy to explain why people dare to criticise them. Seriously, how intellectually bankrupt does an argument have to be before its author recognises the absurdity of it?
Apparently, Harry and Meghan can publicly vilify the family they left behind, but anyone who questions their narrative must be a troll or a royal operative. What a spectacularly childish way to avoid confronting inconvenient facts!
Being estranged from your family doesn’t automatically make you a victim, and having a platform doesn’t make you a person of integrity. If you’re going to preach about courage, ethics and morality, at least have the intellectual honesty to apply those standards to Harry and Meghan, too.

Brazil is not a "communist" country. You all sound so freaking stupid calling everyone communists & calling everything communism. Truly.
1. Brazil has a market economy with privately owned businesses, banks, farms, corporations, and stock exchanges. Huge companies and countless private firms operate for profit and invest throughout Brazil. That is fundamentally different from a communist economic system, where the state owns or controls most means of production.
2. Private media outlets openly criticize Lula (the current president) every single day. Major newspapers, television networks, and online publications are not state-controlled.
3. Religious institutions operate freely. Brazil has one of the world's largest evangelical Christian populations, and churches are not controlled by the state. That does not happen in communist regimes.
The ACTUAL criticism from many on the Brazilian right (and apparently a shit ton of people on the American right) is that the Supreme Federal Court, particularly Justice Alexandre de Moraes, has accumulated substantial power & has at times taken aggressive action against political actors. That raises legitimate concerns re: due process, free speech, judicial overreach. Again, not communism.
Lula is a leftist. You can argue his government is too far left. You can criticize the courts. You can even argue that Brazil's democratic institutions are under strain. (I agree with all of these things). But Brazil is not a communist country.
Some of you need to go back to high school civics. Embarrassing.

He was likely going to face arrest if he stayed.
They came after his father and sentenced him to 27 years, issued an arrest warrant for his brother Eduardo, and now they are coming after him for attempting to unseat Lula.
This is what happens is Communist countries. If you oppose the regime, they lash out and do everything they can to silence you in order to cling to power.
There are dark days ahead for Brazil.
The election should have been annulled.
