I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard hardworking young people (especially tech talent) complain about the infrastructural deficits like electricity supply, connectivity and dignified housing solutions and what that means for their inability to access and retain global opportunities.
Worse still, is the cost of living in cities like Lagos and Abuja and what that means for their mental and psychological health. My HR/People background makes this even more real. This is a huge issue.
The ecosystem of skill, jobs and live/work spaces is one that requires very specific but common sense interventions if we are to harness the opportunities of global remote work and business process outsourcing. If not, all the efforts by @FMCIDENigeria and @fmitiofficial will be DOA.
It doesn’t have to be this way and places like @aksgovt are primed to lead this charge.

I loved @ChuGailx 's #HerDaughtersMother, it didn't feel like a film, it felt we were watching human beings exist through their pain. Intentional, yet seemingly organic with the silence and visual language. Congrats Gail, that's one helluva debut!
