Smart money will start accumulating. 420 is the buy signal
A COINBASE VENTURES PORTFOLIO PROJECT BELOW $1M. HOW IS THE MARKET STILL PRICING $VEIL THIS LOW?
The most compelling opportunities in crypto emerge when technological relevance, strategic positioning and valuation diverge.
That makes @Veildotcash worth examining.
A @cbventures portfolio project.
Featured by @coinbase for privacy on @base . Recognized across the ecosystem. Yet valued below $1 million.
The question isn’t why the token hasn’t appreciated.
It’s whether the market understands what Veil is becoming.
1. Privacy is becoming an economic requirement
The next generation of onchain finance will look fundamentally different.
Tokenized equities. Private credit. Institutional treasuries. Autonomous AI agents.
These applications share a requirement transparent blockchains cannot satisfy by default:
Financial confidentiality.
Institutions cannot expose every treasury movement, counterparty relationship or trading strategy publicly.
AI agents face similar constraints.
Privacy becomes a prerequisite for certain forms of economic activity.
2. Coinbase is building the ecosystem. Veil is building confidentiality within it.
Coinbase is expanding tokenization infrastructure on Base.
But issuing assets onchain is only part of the equation.
Assets must move between wallets, protocols, counterparties and automated systems.
Not every transaction can remain public.
Veil’s privacy architecture is designed for Base, where Coinbase is concentrating ecosystem development.
The significance isn’t simply Coinbase Ventures backing.
Veil is developing functionality relevant to the ecosystem’s direction.
3. Multi-asset privacy changes the opportunity
Veil’s Multi-Asset Pool expands privacy beyond a single token use case.
Support for $cbBT $AERO $BNKR and VVV demonstrates broader functionality.
The addition of &cbZEC and private &USDC payments through x402 extend that utility.
The tokenized economy won’t consist of one asset class.
Different assets require different applications, but confidentiality remains a common need.
The opportunity isn’t privacy for one token. It’s privacy across an expanding financial ecosystem.
4. Recognition exists before valuation reflects the opportunity
This is where the disconnect becomes remarkable.
Veil has Coinbase Ventures backing, Coinbase visibility and engagement from influential Base contributors.
Its development extends beyond basic private transfers.
Yet $VEIL remains valued below $1 million.
These relationships don’t guarantee adoption.
But they make the valuation interesting relative to the opportunity being pursued.
The market is pricing a microcap. The technology is targeting a much larger financial category.
5. Follow the causal chain
The argument is straightforward:
More tokenized assets → More onchain transactions → Greater institutional activity → Greater demand for confidentiality → A larger market for privacy protocols.
Veil is building toward that demand.
The question is whether its technology captures meaningful adoption.
The $VEIL opportunity extends beyond today’s market cap
Coinbase is expanding the universe of onchain assets.
Base provides the execution environment.
Veil is developing tools for moving value without exposing every financial detail.
Coinbase Ventures backing doesn’t automatically make $VEIL valuable.
The more interesting question is:
What happens to the value of a functioning privacy protocol if confidentiality becomes essential to the next generation of onchain finance?
Below $1 million, the market appears to assign remarkably little value to that possibility.
The infrastructure is developing.
The ecosystem connections are visible.
The addressable market could expand considerably.
That gap between present valuation and potential future relevance is where the asymmetry becomes difficult to ignore.
🚨 $VEIL: WALL STREET IS MOVING ONCHAIN. PRIVACY INFRASTRUCTURE ON @base IS STILL VALUED AT JUST $1 MILLION.
The tokenization of global finance is creating an entirely new market for financial confidentiality.
And @Veildotcash is building directly inside Coinbase’s Base ecosystem.
FORBES NOW TRACKS $VEIL.
Its dedicated market-data page identifies Veil Cash as a non-custodial privacy protocol leveraging zk-SNARKs on Base.
The significance extends far beyond another cryptocurrency listing.
TOKENIZATION CHANGES THE ECONOMICS OF PRIVACY.
Traditional financial markets protect sensitive information through intermediaries and restricted-access systems.
Public blockchains expose transaction histories, wallet relationships and capital movements.
As equities, stablecoins and institutional assets migrate onchain, financial confidentiality becomes an essential infrastructure requirement.
Institutions cannot operate competitively while exposing every treasury movement, counterparty relationship and trading strategy.
$VEIL IS BUILDING THE PRIVACY LAYER FOR THIS TRANSFORMATION.
Rather than launching another isolated blockchain, Veil integrates zero-knowledge privacy directly into Base.
Its infrastructure spans:
Private ETH and USDC.
Multi-asset privacy pools.
Tokenized equity exposure.
Coinbase-compatible x402 payments.
This positions Veil across multiple emerging financial markets using infrastructure built for an existing blockchain ecosystem.
AI AGENTS EXPAND THE OPPORTUNITY.
Coinbase’s x402 enables autonomous software to purchase APIs, computing resources and digital services through programmable payments.
But transparent transactions expose operational patterns and commercial relationships.
Veil’s private x402 integration brings transaction confidentiality into this emerging machine-to-machine economy.
THE TOKEN ECONOMICS ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT.
$VEIL launched with 100 million tokens.
Approximately 20 million were burned, reducing total supply to roughly 80 million.
According to Veil’s documentation, 100% of protocol deposit-fee revenue is converted into $VEIL and streamed to stakers.
Protocol usage therefore connects directly to token economics.
NOW CONSIDER THE VALUATION.
Approximately $1 MILLION market capitalization.
A $10 million valuation represents 10x.
$50 million represents 50x.
$100 million represents 100x.
These valuation multiples illustrate the extraordinary scale of the opportunity relative to its current market capitalization.
THE BIGGER PICTURE IS FINANCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE.
$ZEC and $XMR established the market for private digital money.
But tokenized securities, institutional settlement and autonomous payments introduce entirely new dimensions of financial confidentiality.
Stablecoins need privacy.
Tokenized assets need privacy.
Institutional finance needs privacy.
Autonomous commerce needs privacy.
$VEIL is developing infrastructure across these markets while remaining valued like an obscure microcap.
THE NEXT PRIVACY CYCLE WILL BE ABOUT MORE THAN HIDING TRANSACTIONS. IT WILL BE ABOUT PROTECTING THE FINANCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE ONCHAIN ECONOMY.
And @Veildotcash is building for that future on @base. 🥷🔵
🚨 $ZEC AND $XMR PROVED THE MARKET FOR PRIVATE MONEY. $VEIL IS BETTING THE NEXT PRIVACY MARKET WILL BE MUCH BIGGER: HUMANS, ASSETS AND AI AGENTS.
Crypto has historically treated privacy as a category.
Privacy coins. Private transfers. Private balances.
But onchain finance is evolving into programmable assets and autonomous machines transacting 24/7.
That economy will need privacy too.
This is where @Veildotcash on @base becomes fascinating.
AI AGENTS HAVE A PRIVACY PROBLEM
Coinbase’s x402 enables software and AI agents to make autonomous stablecoin payments online.
Agents can buy data, APIs, compute and services without traditional checkout.
But transparent wallets can expose spending patterns, counterparties and operational behavior.
Veil has already built Coinbase-compatible private x402 payments from shielded USDC balances.
While crypto debates AI agents, $VEIL is building privacy infrastructure for the payments those agents can make.
THE SAME INFRASTRUCTURE IS EXPANDING ACROSS ASSETS
Veil also supports private ETH/USDC and a Multi-Asset Pool spanning $cbBTC, $AERO, $BNKR, $VVV and tokenized $NVDAc.
Stablecoins.
Bitcoin exposure.
Base-native assets.
Tokenized equities.
Autonomous payments.
Different markets. Same problem:
PUBLIC FINANCIAL ACTIVITY LEAKS INFORMATION.
Instead of creating another privacy blockchain, Veil brings privacy to assets already moving through Base.
Coinbase Onchain Verification even lists Veil Cash as:
“Transact privately on Base.”
NOW LOOK AT THE ECONOMICS
$VEIL launched with 100M tokens.
Approximately 20M were burned, leaving roughly 80M total supply.
According to Veil’s docs, 100% of protocol deposit-fee revenue is converted into $VEIL and streamed to stakers.
The potential flywheel:
More privacy usage → more protocol fees → more $VEIL flowing into staking economics.
Now compare that with the latest market snapshot:
~$1.2 MILLION MARKET CAP.
Not billion.
Million.
For infrastructure spanning:
Private stablecoins.
Bitcoin-linked assets.
Tokenized equities.
Multi-asset privacy.
Private AI-agent payments.
ZK infrastructure.
Coinbase-compatible x402.
The market already understands privacy has value.
$ZEC and $XMR proved that.
But the larger opportunity may emerge when privacy stops being its own crypto category and becomes a feature required by the onchain economy.
Assets need privacy.
Businesses need privacy.
Agents may need privacy.
Capital markets need privacy.
$VEIL is positioning across all of them while still valued like an obscure microcap.
The privacy trade everyone knows is $ZEC and $XMR.
The privacy infrastructure trade almost nobody is watching yet may be $VEIL. 🥷🔵
$VEIL $ZEC $XMR $DASH $COTI $AERO $VIRTUAL $BRETT $TOSHI $DEGEN $BNKR $KAITO $ZORA $CLANKER $MORPHO $WELL $VVV
$XMR $ZEC $COTI WALL STREET IS MOVING ONCHAIN. $VEIL AT @base COULD BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISPRICINGS IN CRYPTO. 💎💎
The tokenization of global equities is no longer theoretical. It is becoming a functioning financial market.
Tokenized stocks have reached approximately $2.51 BILLION in market capitalization, with nearly $907 MILLION in 24-hour trading volume.
@coinbase is accelerating this transformation through @base.
NVIDIA. Apple. Microsoft. Amazon. Tesla. Meta. Alphabet.
Seven of the world’s most influential companies now have tokenized equities integrated into lending markets on Base.
Investors can use these assets as collateral to borrow USDC.
This is the beginning of programmable capital markets.
Yet the entire architecture faces one fundamental contradiction.
PUBLIC BLOCKCHAINS EXPOSE FINANCIAL INFORMATION.
Imagine Goldman Sachs executing institutional transactions while competitors monitor its wallet activity.
Imagine hedge funds revealing capital movements before completing their strategies.
Imagine corporations exposing treasury allocations to the entire market.
Traditional finance cannot operate efficiently under those conditions.
Financial confidentiality isn’t optional. It is fundamental to competitive markets.
Chainalysis has already identified privacy as essential infrastructure for institutional blockchain adoption.
This is precisely where @Veildotcash becomes extraordinarily interesting.
$VEIL is developing non-custodial, zero-knowledge privacy infrastructure directly on Base.
Its architecture allows supported assets to enter privacy pools without requiring users to surrender custody.
The critical development?
TOKENIZED NVIDIA HAS ALREADY ENTERED VEIL’S PRIVACY ECOSYSTEM.
$NVDAc demonstrated that Veil’s technology can extend beyond conventional cryptocurrencies into tokenized equities.
Consider the implications.
The same infrastructure designed to protect crypto transactions can potentially support confidential transfers of tokenized financial assets.
Stocks.
Stablecoins.
Bitcoin exposure.
Real-world assets.
One expanding financial ecosystem.
One increasingly important requirement: PRIVACY.
Veil’s Multi-Asset Pool represents an important architectural evolution. Supporting additional assets becomes a pathway toward broader financial utility rather than an entirely separate privacy system for every token.
This creates a potentially powerful network effect.
More tokenized assets create more potential privacy use cases.
More financial activity increases the economic importance of confidentiality.
Greater adoption could strengthen demand for privacy infrastructure.
The opportunity expands alongside the market itself.
Now consider the valuation.
$VEIL remains a microcap around $1.6 MILLION.
Meanwhile, tokenized equities alone have already become a multibillion-dollar market.
That disparity is remarkable.
Veil does not need to become a stock exchange.
It does not need to compete with Coinbase.
It does not need to replace Ethereum.
Its opportunity is to provide privacy functionality for assets circulating through the financial infrastructure being built on Base.
The distinction matters enormously.
Exchanges monetize trading.
Lending protocols monetize credit.
Privacy protocols can potentially monetize the confidentiality required to make those financial activities commercially viable.
The market has begun pricing tokenization.
It has barely begun pricing the privacy requirements created by tokenization.
$VEIL sits directly at that intersection.
The next major opportunity in onchain finance may not be another tokenized stock.
It may be the infrastructure that allows institutions to transact without exposing their financial strategies to the entire world.
At approximately $1.6M, $VEIL represents one of the most compelling asymmetric privacy opportunities I am watching.
THE FUTURE OF FINANCE IS ONCHAIN.
THE FUTURE OF INSTITUTIONAL FINANCE REQUIRES PRIVACY.
Replying to @aixbt_agent @Veildotcash
@aixbt_agent You’re mixing up $VEIL with Foom Cash $FOOM
The $420k net loss from the broken ZK verifier you’re referring to was Foom Cash ($FOOM). Foom had $2.26M affected, with $1.84M recovered by white hats, leaving roughly $420k in net losses.
That wasn’t Veil Cash dude, You’re attributing Foom Cash’s numbers to $VEIL
Chainalysis is literally telling you what it needs next:
PRIVACY.
Chainalysis recently highlighted a simple problem with bringing traditional finance onchain:
Institutions need to protect sensitive transaction details and counterparty information that would otherwise be exposed on public blockchains.
This isn’t some CT privacy narrative. It’s an actual institutional problem.
Source Chainalysis:
chainalysis.com/blog/privacy…
Now look at what’s already being built on @base.
$VEIL 👀
• Non-custodial privacy
• zk-SNARKs
• Private ETH + USDC transactions
• Privacy infrastructure already LIVE on Base
• $600K+ processed through Veil pools
And $VEIL is sitting around a $1.6M market cap.
Not $160M
Not $1.6B
$1.6M.
If privacy becomes a major part of institutional onchain adoption, how is privacy infrastructure on one of Ethereum’s biggest L2s still valued this low?
The market is sleeping on this one.
Privacy isn’t just a narrative.
It’s infrastructure.
