Haven’t even been looking for record stores on this run because my luggage barely comes underweight for flying the way it is, but you better believe I’ve been spending my money in every photo booth I find at a venue.
I thought getting to hear Just Abandoned Myself was the best treat but as we are nearing the half way point I gotta say it’s A Bao A Qu into The Evilone Which Sobs nightly that really fucks me up.

I enjoy CDs. I like to hold them and look at them, read the credits and liner notes, and place the disc in the CD player. That’s a good time to me. It brings me closer to the music and enriches my life with a tactile experience. They sound crisp and clean. All is well.

Haven’t been listening to a whole lot of music on this tour except for at night at the hotel while I’m doing my accounting or winding down so mostly revisiting familiar comfort albums but I’m really hooked right now on the Weyes Blood album from a few years back.
Tonight was the 400th PFB show. I also got to play guitar with Boris on the first song I ever personally saw them play live. I still remembered how it rewired my brain all those years ago. I can’t believe I’m here. It was a good night.
Best way I can describe rolling into Madrid is that it feels like rolling into SoCal on tour in the states.
Telling my dad about how beautiful Spain is, and he tells me “one day I’ll get to see these things” and I’m like dawg stop going on multiple cruises a year and you could see these places.

You see, the greatest French writer in history, Victor Hugo wrote an entire novel about how looting to feed yourself and your family is not a crime or personal failing, but a fundamental flaw of a corrupt system that gives you no other choice
Be me, get put on heavy euro metal fest cuz you’re touring with one of the big bands on it, proceed to clear 3/4 of the room by playing a 20 min droned out version of one of your songs
Sitting on a rock beach listening to the waves crash into shore in Brighton. Sometimes life is okay.
Just took an hour long journey from the venue to buy a strawberry cornetto from the Shaun of the Dead grocery store. @edgarwright
