No child in the United States “goes to school as a Timmy and returns home a Tammy”. But since Jan of this year, 34 children went to school alive and returned in a coffin because of school shootings.

The window dressing of the Q2 Anthropic release quickly fades with the Q3 update QoQ revenue growth rate fell sharply from 144% in Q2 to 47% Meanwhile Operating Expenses grew 65% QoQ, and Operating Profit fell to a deep loss The big kicker is an astronomical $895B in compute commitments, with $70B due in the next 12 months…on just $68B annualized revenue This is ugly unless they can find A LOT more revenue, fast
ANTHROPIC Q3 2026 FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS: - Revenue: $17.0B, +1,127% YoY & 47% QoQ - Oper Loss: $567M (vs. $974M profit in Q2) - Net Loss: $23.3B, vs. $12.1B YoY - Adj. Oper Income: $2.5B - Adj. Oper Margin: 15%, down from 19% in Q2 - 9M Revenue: $33.2B Anthropic attributed its return to an operating loss partly to $5B in higher-cost short-term compute and a $2B noncash donation-matching charge. Its nine-month net loss reached $104B, largely reflecting $94.3B in noncash charges from the rising value of its convertible notes. Anthropic also disclosed approximately $895.4B in aggregate purchase and lease commitments as of and after Sept. 30, largely tied to AI compute infrastructure.

.@JamesTalarico: The first bill I want to vote on in the Senate is comprehensive political reform Undecided voter: What is that specifically? Talarico: I want to ban Super PACs. I want to cap campaign contributions. I don’t think members of Congress should be allowed to buy and sell stocks. We have to end insider trading in both political parties

People like Sam Altman are part of what’s wrong with this world. They need to be stopped before they cause irreversible damage. What does he mean the world needs to accept that people will get hurt for AI to advance? Who gave these people the authority to gamble with everyone else’s future?

I hope folks will think about the fact that @HaleyforMI demanded that @AbdulElSayed denounce as antisemitic an ad he was not associated with, but is now endorsing a man who called Abdul a terrorist. She is fine with bigotry and racism as long as its against the right people.
Q: What your message to Democrats who are upset that throughout the primary you said you would endorse the Democratic nominee and are not doing so today? Stevens: I am sorry people are upset. I understand that. I did endorse the Democratic nominee. He chose to say I wasn’t welcome.

I’ve known Haley Stevens for a long time. Until now, she has always had staff to protect her, prop her up, and keep her safe from her own irrational behavior. What we’re seeing now? This is just raw, unfiltered Haley. The Haley who flip-flops and goes from thought to thought without rhyme or reason. The Haley that calls you at 3 AM to yell at you, and then calls you back at 5 AM oblivious to the fact that she even spoke with you at 3 AM. The Haley who bends to the last and loudest voice that tells her something. More often than not that last voice is now her fiancé. And as you can see by what one of her former staff people posted earlier here on X, that appears to potentially be a really troubling relationship. Up until this point, other than a joke I made on X a few days ago, I wasn't going to say anything public about Haley Stevens or how she has comported herself since the primary. It not only wasn't appropriate, I would never, ever want anyone to think I was speaking for or on behalf of my wife. But Haley's erratic choices mean I can no longer be silent about my interactions with her since the primary ended. I approached Haley in the middle of September about putting her name to an Op-Ed attacking Mike Rogers for his unwillingness to denounce the antisemitic members of his own team, the $10 million in support he's received from Christian nationalist Tim Dunn, and his steadfast opposition to a woman's right to choose. The goal of the Op-Ed was to remind members of the Jewish community that Mike Rogers doesn't align with our values. The proposed Op-Ed never mentioned Abdul. The only thing it asked for was to not vote for Mike Rogers. Initially she was very interested in it. Then she wasn't. Then she was again. Then she wasn't. She never signed it. Literally the bare minimum - attack MAGA Mike Rogers, the guy who would have been running against you had you won the primary. And that was over a month ago. This is nothing new. This is just who Haley is. By the way, here's the Op-Ed that she wouldn't let me publish.

This whole Bolsonaro thing is crazy because international fugitives used to pick Russia to run from accountability. Now, they pick America. They feel safe here. Disgusting. We need to deport every one of these thugs Trump lets in.
