It’s a good day to be Anishinaabe. It’s a good day to be a Canadian.

Miigwech to Prime Minister Carney, National Chief Cindy Woodhouse, Chiefs, Leaders, and all the First Ministers, who listened to the shared wisdom and vision for Canada.
As our National Chief said, this can’t be a one and done. We must continue building relationships, working together and making Canada stronger for everyone.

🚨BREAKING: This new chart from @TheStudyofWar overlays Ukraine’s strikes on Russian refineries with the price of diesel fuel. There is NO CORRELATION between strikes on Russian refineries and spikes in the price of diesel here in the U.S. They are not driving up prices here.

Sen. Angus King says he sat down and made a list of everything Putin could possibly want from an American president.
His conclusion about Trump?
“This guy, this president, is doing almost all of them.”
King then goes through the list. WATCH.

Can you do same calculation for the war of independence - British v Colonies men of fighting age? How’d that work out?
This quoted post is unavailable.
Always pay close attention to Jack Keane - he has proven it time after time.
Gen. Jack Keane with some blunt advice for the president on Putin, “the massive pathological liar that he is.” Keane says that Putin "has convinced our president that he's genuine and sincere about wanting to make the deal...But what’s the evidence of that?”
Zelensky said yes to an unconditional ceasefire from the start. Putin has never agreed to one, and Keane notes that Russia has “violated every ceasefire that they’ve had” since 2014.
Putin can’t beat Ukraine’s army, so he’s waging war on its people. Keane points out that 15,000 civilians have been killed in 2026, up 55% from 2025. Last week alone: 100 killed, 20 of them children.
The bottom line: “It starts with Putin, because he has been the one who said no every single time.”

We started a war with Iran. Russia is helping Iran. Gas prices go up, we buy diesel from Russia.
Our enemies are making money off of the war we started to fuel their war against an ally - Ukraine.
Makes sense.

BREAKING: Russia has launched 6 ballistic missiles into Kyiv with no air alert and no reported air defence activity, with Ukrainian sources saying the US has now cut intelligence sharing that gives early warning of Russian ballistic launches, per initial reports.
As a result, multiple ballistic missiles impacted the city minutes ago.
The US threatened 3 days ago to cut off all intelligence sharing with Ukraine unless Kyiv halted its strikes on Russian refineries. US detection provides the 3 to 5 minute civilian warning for a ballistic launch from western Russia, and without it that window drops to half or to nothing on many trajectories.

Ukraine's Air Force says radar detected the targets but received no launch data; the cause is "currently being investigated," with no confirmed US intel cutoff. Zelensky's adviser said such undetected launches happened before and urged against premature conclusions. knews.media/2026/10/13/kyi… unn.ua/en/news/explos…

Ukraine’s freedom is not President Trump’s to bargain away.
He is wrong to ease sanctions on Russian diesel, wrong to blame President Zelensky for prolonging Putin’s war, and wrong to undermine a nation fighting for its right to exist. Russia is the aggressor. Always has been. Reward Russia, and we should expect to see more aggression, including from other countries. We can also kiss goodbye to any just and lasting peace.
This is why Conservatives have stood with Ukraine against Putin. Ukraine’s future belongs to Ukrainians. They alone have the right to choose their president, and we stand with President Zelensky because he fights not for himself, but for the survival of his country and his people.
🔴 Trump backstabs Zelensky for five minutes of midterm relief

He's right.
It is sickening that the USA is now lifting sanctions on Russian fuel, and transparently ridiculous to blame Ukraine for the spike in prices that obviously began with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Putin is murdering innocent Ukrainian civilians every day. The Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. And yet the White House is apparently determined to force American drivers to bankroll Putin’s slaughter. It won’t work and I doubt it will make much difference to the price of fuel.
If we want Russian oil and gas back on the world market then let’s end this war - with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine.
Beautiful statement - great to see humanity come thru politics
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has the overwhelming support of the United States Congress, he has the overwhelming support of the American people, and he has the overwhelming support of the Ukrainian people. Russian illegally invaded Ukraine, a sovereign and freedom-loving nation, and Russia is squarely to blame for all damage and destruction, to both lives and treasure, that has resulted from Putin’s unprovoked attack.
@ZelenskyyUa, you know that the United States Congress, and the American people, stand 100% behind you. The Ukrainian people are so blessed to have you leading them in these difficult times. We have your back, and we will stand with you until Ukrainian victory is achieved. 🇺🇸 🇺🇦

@JamesTalarico: “The billionaires own the algorithms and the news networks. They have created for-profit platforms that divide us on an hourly basis — by party, by race, by gender, by religion. They elevate the most extreme voices very strategically to provoke our outrage, because that leads to more clicks, which leads to more money for them.
They are selling us conflict right into our bloodstream, and they’re calling it connection.
And I think it’s left people starving for actual community.”
