The Eagles lost their 5th straight + top thoughts around the NFL.

“There is dysfunction in Philly. It was little things for me. It wasn’t the execution that got me. It was culture things. The number one thing isn’t scheme, a fancy coordinator, it’s culture. In Philadelphia, for the better of the past couple decades, they have had really good culture. Something is changing. When they got rid of Jeff Stoutland, that really pissed me off. I knew something bad was gonna happen. He is a great coach. For him not to get the respect that he deserves, that frustrates me. When guys are getting hit and offensive lineman are near them, is someone going to pick up the running back? He just got hit in the backfield. That culture with Jeff, that would never fly. When we got hit, we were picked up right away by the offensive line.“

It turns out that trading for an EDGE rusher coming off of an injury that required offseason surgery and then paying him a lot of money while also signing a CB that isn't a scheme fit to a big deal while letting a S that was a scheme fit walk on a reasonable deal and having no plan at safety other than taking your superstar slot defender play safety part time and thus making him bad at both wasn't the best offseason plan for the defense.

There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.

Drummond should have went out. There's no guarantee he's going to live another 53 years.

I’m trying not to overreact because I’m well aware it’s game 1 of 82, but my goodness…
There is SO much to love about this Sixers team

Football aside, this is really painful on a human level. Jalen goes about his work the right way and is always a professional. He’s had his character questioned many times over the years and has kept his head down regardless. I have no doubts he will overcome this, it’s just sad.

The product Sirianni and the Eagles' offensive staff keep running out is unwatchable.
No answers for the blitz. Condensed sets that defenses tee off on. Zero creativity to get receivers open. Competent head coaches solve these issues, and Sirianni can't.
Hey Lurie, it's time.

Two weeks ago I pointed out the Eagles did not attempt a straight drop back pass from under center. Defenses know any time the Eagles are under center they are either running or running PA. This allows the defense to blitz without fear of getting beat by a quick pass.
3 weeks later the Eagles still have not attempted a straight drop back from under center. The Panthers have (predictably) blitzed every time the Eagles are under center. How has the coaching staff not figured this tell out yet and adjusted?

Another day where @nflnetwork and @NFL continue to employ a person that defamed an athlete live on air. Still no apology, nothing.
This person -> @RealMikeRob
That’s crazy.
