Quantum Era
(Image remixed from @ENERGY)
Like post-quantum secure TLS, SSH, Facetime/iMessages, iOS, AWS Payments, Kubernetes, Azure, etc. Either rolled out or being rolled out and with an easier migration path. Seems like everyone is taking it seriously to me and the S&P500 will be fine.

Hard to imagine technology progressing exponentially, but that's what happened with AI.
It's exponentially harder for people to imagine tech progressing at a doubly exponential rate, but according to Hartmut Neven from Google, that's what's happening

Don't need to go to waybackmachine. History is on wikipedia.

Lots of other data points to consider.
If you haven't already you'll want to seek out the "Quantum Threat Timeline Report".
I'm sure other lovely $QRL community members will be able to equip you with other plenty of resources as well.

Canada won't/can't hold these companies to account. The Fifth Estate coverage of an illegal immigration scheme showed that by giving the GoC everything on a silver platter.
With zero accountability, it needs to stop. Full stop.

Notably, @globalriskfs's yearly report asks a panel of experts that backs this up
Even with a 10 year timeline, @Google, @Cloudflare, and @QRLedger are all taking it seriously with post-quantum secure products available and in-use, today

There's a good reason that Google, Cloudflare, the US Gov, etc have already started making the transition.
Want something practical? Anyone can enable quantum resistant TLS in their Google Chrome browser, today (v115)

I've done it
Considering post-quantum crypto isn't likely to be a drop-in replacement (NIST), complexity is a huge issue. Blockchains have used cryptographic properties in unique and amazing ways, and it's going to be a lot of research and effort to switch

This is the $QRL Zond public devnet pre-release running on a Raspberry Pi zero 2 W
Efficient post-quantum security including #EVM smart contracts, proof-of-stake, and #web3 compatibility is around the corner from the @QRledger team
#raspberrypi #ETH #development #cryptocurrency
This month, $QRL is releasing a public devnet which includes L1 #ethereum compatible smart contracts on top of Proof-of-Stake consensus after being in research & development for years
Difference from $ETH is everything is post-quantum resistant

The $QRL network from @QRLedger just hit 750 nodes, furthering the decentralization of the post-quantum secure #blockchain platform!
To celebrate, the first 5 to reply with a picture of their terminal running a Quantum Resistant Ledger node will get 25 QRL.

Latest QRL youtube video went live yesterday on enQlave, a project started by @QRLedger with love for #Ethereum that will enable users to protect their $ETH from quantum attacks for the cost of a little more gas than a typical transaction.

The 2017 paper "Quantum Resource Estimates for Computing Elliptic Curve Discrete Logarithms" puts the number at ~2330 Qubits. Going to say between 2330 and ~2600 (error corrected of course)
