EXC: GAVIN A BLAST!
A convicted Wall Street swindler and New York’s former No. 1 tax deadbeat is living it up in a $5M California mansion, running a charity praised by Gov. Gavin Newsom, and hawking erectile dysfunction pills.
All while dodging a staggering $59.1 million tax bill.
Daniel Gordon pleaded guilty in 2003 to a $43 million wire fraud scheme at Merrill Lynch.
Despite New York enforcers pledging to hunt him down in 2016, leaked emails reveal state investigators failed to act even after being handed a roadmap to $26 million of his alleged holdings.

I have noted the AFC statement of 27 October 2026.
My post of 25 October explained how the FIFA presidential vote works: every member association casts its own vote. It also expressed my view on the importance of transparency in football governance.
Its final sentence states a principle the whole football family shares: no election should be open to coercion, threats or bribery. I stand by that principle. It was a statement of principle, not an allegation against any person. Where concerns arise, the proper place for them is the competent bodies.
I respect the AFC and its judicial bodies and will cooperate fully with any process. As the FIFA Statutes provide, the Jordan Football Association will cast its vote in the FIFA presidential election independently.
I will make no further comment while the matter is under consideration.

Got the FOI documents back. The European Commission terminated my supplier contract because I had opinions that are against “EU values”.
The type of contacts I was employed under was illegal (false freelance), and terminating contracts for beliefs is also illegal. This is all according to @EU_Commission’s own rules.
The values I hold that are anti-EU: sex is real and it matters.

Nothing screams “we have total confidence in our judicial independence” quite like:
- Getting caught secretly rewriting FIFA rules at midnight
- panicking when asked about it
- trolling outlets running critical coverage of the above by tweeting a three-month-old PR statement
Replying to @nypost
FIFA reiterates the comments made by FIFA President Gianni Infantino on 6 July:
“I have seen the public comments regarding the decision of the independent FIFA Disciplinary Committee related to the suspension of Folarin Balogun, and I would like to reiterate a fundamental principle of FIFA’s governance.
“FIFA’s judicial bodies are independent. They operate autonomously, apply the FIFA Disciplinary Code, and decide cases based on the applicable regulations and the specific facts before them. Their independence is essential to the credibility and integrity of football, and this must always be respected.
“Yes, I regularly discuss matters related to the FIFA World Cup with the President of the United States, and on this matter, I did receive a call from President Donald Trump, just as I receive calls from heads of state, government officials, football stakeholders and business executives from around the world on many different issues. During our conversation, I explained that there was an ongoing legal process involving FIFA’s independent judicial bodies and that the case would be decided in due course by the competent bodies. That is how FIFA’s system works, and it is a principle that I will always uphold.
“I read the decisions of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee when they are issued. Sometimes I am surprised by them. Sometimes I agree with them, and sometimes I disagree.
“What I always do, however, is respect those decisions and the autonomy of the bodies that make them. Whether we personally like a decision or not is irrelevant. Respect for independent institutions and the rule of law is what protects the integrity of our competitions and the credibility of FIFA at all times.”

Gianni Infantino fixed US World Cup star Balogun's red card after call with POTUS: FIFA sources trib.al/GJzx1D6
EXC: Gianni Infantino fixed US World Cup star Balogun’s red card after call with POTUS: FIFA sources
FIFA boss Gianni Infantino broke the global soccer body’s own rules and fixed the scrapping of USMNT star Folarin Balogun’s World Cup red card during a phone call with President Donald Trump, four sources briefed on the matter told The Post.
The Swiss-Italian sports chief agreed to quash the forward’s suspension, breaching the global organization’s own disciplinary code, in talks with the commander-in-chief on July 1, the four FIFA insiders said.
“He told President Trump that he would take care of it. One call and it was done,” said one of the sources told The Post.
Balogun was sent off during his side’s match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, meaning he would have been ineligible for the key clash against Belgium without Infantino’s extraordinary intervention.
He previously claimed that he had no involvement with the decision.
It could put fresh pressure on Infantino, who angered soccer fans and federations alike when he secretly struck a deal to sell off FIFA’s commercial rights to Joshua Kushner’s Thrive Capital.
The Post broke the story that the plan had been scrapped amid the outrage as Infantino eyes a fourth term at the top of global soccer in FIFA’s presidential election this March.
Leaked documents obtained by The Post show the shadowy Zurich-based organization is quietly rewriting its disciplinary code.
Late Tuesday night, just 36 hours before a high-stakes crisis summit in Switzerland, the non-profit’s top brass sent a draft code change that forbids FIFA legal panels from suspending automatic one-game bans for red cards.
In an accompanying memo, FIFA officials claimed the rewrite is needed to ensure stability and protect the integrity of competitions.
Critics inside European soccer federations say the midnight filing is an admission of guilt. They view the rule change as a retroactive attempt to cover up Infantino’s meddling in the Folarin Balogun case after outreach from President Donald Trump.
Ironically, Balogun, who was also eligible to play for England and Nigeria, obtained birthright citizenship that the administration says it wants to ban.
“All presidents and prime ministers hosting a World Cup would want to ask for a favor to be done in this situation,” said one soccer insider. “But the corruption is purely Infantino’s because he had to say: ‘We can’t change the rules, Mr President.”
