The last time I had 15+ random men in my dms asking to give me money was when I raised my seed round for my last startup.
My hot take is the US is never going to have another Democratic president unless the Dems bring back all or most of the tech billionaire elite they've been targeting the last 5+ years back to their side.
Don't worry about the stock market guys. At least cost of living is cheap, the world is at peace, and we're reducing the deficit.
Starting to research and put together my 2027 position trade portfolio. I do this near the end of every year and start taking positions into dips to hold into the following year longer than my typical swing trade. This is what I picked end of 2025 for 2026:
Maybe I’m dumb but this post is very confusing. They say doubling but then say Pro just keeps its pre-nerf usage?
Day 25/
We are doubling all usage limits for all Pro 100/200/500 tiers and Business Premium, effective today.
We heard your kind feedback and won’t be reducing usage limits for Pro 200, so your Work and Codex usage will stay the same. We’re also going to continue offering extended limits for dots for now, and usage of your dot will still continue to be separate from your default usage.
And we'll of course also keep shipping better models and other efficiency improvements that increase your effective usage over time.
Cool tech but they'd make more money selling this to rich Asian women who want to stay out of the sun.

My guess is Fable 5.5 won’t be publicly available until after the IPO, but they will announce it before the IPO with access rolling out to “select partners”. Too risky to let the public go crazy with a frontier pushing model before the IPO.
Trying to figure out the thinking behind this post.

As someone who attempted this about 15 years ago, the hard part isn't building a Steam competitor, its distribution. As a dev, would you rather have 90% of 10,000 eyeballs on your game or 1% of 147 million? Sure devs could release on both, but your players are already on Steam.
It's really sad that the games industry is drained by a 30% tax on gross revenue.
You could vibe code a Steam alternative in a week. Cloudflare egress is basically free.
The industry is in desperate need of a distribution platform that allows developers to keep their revenue.
Networks effects and the fanatic obsession with "muh Steam library" will make this very difficul.
But if devs could actually keep their earnings, we'd have a greater selection of better games and far more financial success stories.
Basically I'm saying, if Steam ever gets meaningful competition, it will be from a gaming product with distribution. Something that is at least as big as Discord or Twitch and probably didn't start off as a "storefront".
Or maybe @elonmusk could do it with X in some way, just simply because a lot of people would just want to work with him. Streamline publishing of games using Grok/Grokbot/Cursor + distribution through X.
