How is every single one of the Nerd Reich tech bros simultaneously the most cartoonishly stupid and cartoonishly evil ever? While having infinite self-confidence in their AI-powered eugenics sci-fi wet dreams? Lack of self-awareness is *the* most powerful drug.
Pls give me a context this could have been taken out of.

This is Christian extremism. If a radical Muslim military leader was doing this in another country, using the Quran to stoke commitment to a holy war among young recruits, the condemnation from American Christians would be swift and severe. The hypocrisy is astounding.
.@SECWAR "This is our first stop on what we are calling the SEND ME TOUR. If you know your Book of Isaiah, Chapter 6, Verse 8, the Lord said, 'Whom shall I send?' Isaiah says, 'Lord, I AM HERE. SEND ME...' For 250 years of this country, there have been men and women who RAISED THEIR RIGHT HAND and said, 'SEND ME.' SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE REDCOATS. SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE COMMUNISTS. SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE ISLAMISTS. AND YOU ARE SAYING, SEND ME TO GO FIGHT WHATEVER THREATS THREATEN OUR NATION.'"

Morons made a video to "celebrate workers" for Labor Day and instead of showing workers it’s just an automated manufacturing plant that replaced all the workers smh
This Labor Day, we celebrate the workers and products that are proudly MADE IN AMERICA. 🇺🇸

It is interesting that Trump has a reputation as a man of action and decision when in truth he is, and always has been, a man of inertia, stalling, refusing payment, dithering in spectacle, shielded by lawfare and bankruptcy protection, bunkered behind walls of wealth and threat.

ICE killed a father of three yesterday and no one is talking about it. Lorenzo Salgado Araujo spent 35 years in Houston building homes and raising a family. According to people interviewed, every night after work you'd find him on his porch, listening to music, petting his dog. He helped his three kids (U.S. Citizens) get through college. It certainly seems that he was doing everything right, and then a federal agent shot him dead during a stop and his own son found out from a Facebook video, recognizing his father's voice as he lay bleeding in the street. His son says that if his father had recognized any sign of law enforcement, he would have complied without question. DHS says he "tried to run him over." This is the exact same lie they used to justify murdering Renee Good, a mother of three. We are being asked to trust a rogue, lawless agency's word over a dead man's family, again, with no body cam release and no independent investigation. Everyone should be outraged.

The "Middle Class" was a 50-year fluke designed to prevent a communist revolution during the Cold War. Now that the threat is gone, the elites are systematically dismantling it. You aren't "falling behind"; you’re being pushed back into the peasantry.

The Trump administration is advancing plans to resettle an additional 10,000 white South Africans in the United States as refugees. The U.S. has resettled just over 6,000 refugees between October and April — all except three were from South Africa. democracynow

U.S. “sanctions” don’t apply extraterritorially, there’s no “evasion” here. If Mexico wants to send aid to Cuba via @AMEXCID, the country’s international cooperation institution, then it can and will.
#BREAKING: Mexico reportedly sent 588M pesos to Cuba’s Sembrando Vida program via AMEXCID, involving a Chinese-linked firm, raising concerns over possible U.S. sanctions evasion.

Trump convinced dozens of countries to send troops and commit funds to his Gaza plan. The ceasefire collapsed. The mission is closing. Gaza is still rubble. He sold them a plan he couldn’t execute. That’s the whole presidency in one story.

It's really funny how debt is forgivable when it's tied to yachts, hedge funds, or failed businesses, but suddenly becomes a character flaw when it's tied to education, healthcare, or survival.

The Israelis carried out their threat to assassinate Amal
VIDEO | "I received direct threats targeting me on my phone from the Mossad, from the Israelis, and they threatened to kill me. They were literally saying they would sever my head from my shoulders if I didn’t leave south Lebanon." In an interview recorded before her targeted killing, Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil, from the southern village of Baysariyyeh, reflects on the threats she received while covering Israeli aggression in south Lebanon for Al-Akhbar. "Before 23 September, I definitely didn’t take precautions and I didn’t pay attention to these threats, because I said if I’m going to do what they want, why would I let the Israeli enemy impose its own narrative on me? It brings journalists onto my land and promotes the narrative it wants, while preventing me from moving freely on my own land." Amal Khalil, along with her colleague Zeinab Faraj, was deliberately attacked and subsequently killed by Israel yesterday in the southern Lebanese village of Tayri. Zeinab Faraj was severely injured and, as per latest reports, remains in stable condition after undergoing emergency surgery.

One way to understand the current religious/political spat is that Pope Leo's understanding is informed by the Bible and centuries of church debate whereas the Christianity of Trump/Hegseth really comes out of Hollywood revenge fantasies -- it's Augustine vs. the MCU.
