FINAL McCluer North 40 (12-13) Westminster 48 (24-6) A solid defensive battle that saw the Wildcats pull away in the end thanks to sophomore @WillPowers03 scoring 22 points and senior @jdrobertson11_ hitting a big 3 late in the game followed by free throws to ice it. The Wildcats got good minutes from junior Savon Buford off the bench as well. McCluer North fought hard and have a very deceiving record but couldn’t make their shots down the stretch mostly because of excellent WCA defense. The Stars were always in the game and briefly took a one-point lead in the 3rd quarter. Westminster advances to the Class 5 final four and awaits the winner of Sikeston vs Webster Groves next week.
