For over 20 years, Lucie Kon gave everything to the BBC!!
She was an executive producer on Storyville and Panorama. She won an Emmy for We Will Dance Again, the documentary about the Nova massacre.
This year her film Mr Nobody Against Putin won an Oscar.
She says being Jewish had never been an issue at the BBC.
Then came October 7th.
She says colleagues compared Zionists to Hamas terrorists. She says executives questioned whether she could objectively document the Nova massacre, where young people were slaughtered at a music festival.
When she raised concerns about antisemitism, she says she was dismissed as "too sensitive" and offered therapy.
Therapy. For calling out hatred.
Just 19 days after winning an Oscar, she lost her job.
The BBC has now reportedly paid her more than £400,000 in a settlement, without admitting liability. Her request for an apology was refused.
£400,000 of licence fee payers' money, and still not even a "sorry".
In my opinion, the BBC is antisemitic. They have a huge problem with Jewish people, and I think antisemitism runs right through the BBC.
The signs are all there. It's obvious.

🚨BREAKING: Cardinal Gerhard Müller has declared there is “no place for rainbow flags in the Church.”
The senior cardinal and former head of the Vatican’s doctrine office made the statement while rejecting Germany’s Synodal Way process.
He argued the Church’s identity must center on Christ and the Cross, not on modern ideological or political symbols.

Britain's best teacher, and in my book she should be Education Secretary let’s hope Reform recruits her. 🇬🇧👏
Katharine Birbalsingh, founder of Michaela Community School, is absolutely right.
Diversity isn't our strength. Unity is. A country is held together by a common identity its people share: our values, our history and pride in our flag.
Look at the England football team. Players from every background, all wearing the Three Lions and singing the same anthem. That's real unity.
At Michaela, they fly one flag, the Union Jack. No apologies. And her results speak for themselves.
Teach kids to be proud of their country and you give them something to belong to. A nation without a shared identity isn't a nation at all.

In the 1930s, Churchill stood in the House of Commons warning anyone who would listen about the rise of Hitler. He was mocked for it. Called a warmonger, a relic, a man who could not let go of the last war.
The fashionable position was appeasement, and Neville Chamberlain's return from Munich in 1938, waving that piece of paper, was greeted as a triumph.
Within a year, Poland was invaded. Within two, France had fallen. Within five, most of Europe was rubble.
The lesson should have been carved in stone: leaders who tell comforting lies about dangerous men cost ordinary people their lives. And yet.
History keeps running the same experiment. The Weimar Republic collapsed because its politicians could not agree on anything except that the extremists were someone else's problem. The Roman Republic fell because its elite treated the constitution as an inconvenience whenever it got in the way of ambition. The Soviet Union crumbled because the men at the top kept insisting the system was working long after everyone inside it had stopped believing.
Every one of those collapses looked impossible until the week it happened.
Right now the European Union is being written about in those same terms. Economic strain, political fracture, member states pulling in different directions, public trust bleeding out. Whether it holds or breaks is for the people living through it to decide.
Churchill's line about animals was not really about animals. It was an observation about memory. A wolf pack learns. A herd of elephants remembers which watering holes turned deadly and avoids them for generations. Humans write it all down, build libraries, teach it in schools, and then elect the same kind of man their grandparents warned them about.
He'd seen it in his own lifetime, more than once.
The records are there. The warnings are there. The pattern is there.

Elon Musk: "Even if I'm criticized by the whole world, I won't let go of X." The reason makes you think.
Reporter: "Why are you so attached to X?"
Elon: "What do you mean by that?"
Reporter: "Since the acquisition, it's been nothing but criticism, right?"
Elon: "That's true."
Reporter: "Politicians criticize you too."
Elon: "Yes."
Reporter: "There are conflicts with regulatory authorities."
Elon: "That's true."
Reporter: "Honestly, wouldn't it be easier to sell it?"
Elon: "Why?"
Reporter: "You have Tesla and SpaceX, don't you?"
Elon: "I do."
Reporter: "There's no need to stay in the center of controversies, right?"
Elon: "But what would that solve?"
Reporter: "...... Huh?"
Elon: "I think it's important to have a place where opinions can be exchanged freely."
Reporter: "But there are unpleasant opinions too, aren't there?"
Elon: "Of course."
Reporter: "There are wrong opinions too."
Elon: "That's true."

Elon: "How far to restrict?"
Reporter: "That's..."
Elon: "Who decides which opinions are correct?"

Elon: "It's easy to protect only the opinions we agree with."
Reporter: "Yes."

I have tabled a parliamentary motion officially rejecting all calls for any slavery reparations or apology demands.
My motion recognises the unique role Britain played in abolishing the slave trade, and actually demands African and Caribbean countries to accept that and formally acknowledge our contribution.
It goes one step further and calls for the termination of all foreign aid and visas for countries participating in any reparation demands.
All supportive MPs are welcome to sign, and if you agree with the motion - please ask your MP to back it. They have all been invited...
I am proud of our history, and you should be too.

John Thune may be the happiest person in America today.
He and his GOP Senate colleagues (co-conspirators) did a better job at stopping President Trump's policies than all the democrats combined.
Thune and his buddies had a mission, and they saw it through to the end.
Going forward, we need to make it our mission to primary every single RINO at the earliest possible date.

You want to tax tourists now? While the economy chokes, while businesses close, while British families cannot afford a night out, you propose another levy, another tax, another bureaucratic shakedown of the few people still spending money in this dying country?
You are not a Housing Secretary. You are a parasite with a red box, a disgraced tax-dodger rehabilitated by backroom deal, now squatting in office proposing new ways to fleece the public while you failed to pay your own stamp duty. "Overnight Visitor Levy." You mean a bed tax. You mean punishing the one industry still breathing.
You are on borrowed time, Angela. You and your entire rotten cohort of grifters, traitors, and imported activists can pack your bags and go.
Your day in court is not a threat, It is a schedule. And a new government will not have your back. They will have your file.
Tourism is vital to our economy and our communities, and I want to make sure the cultural institutions welcoming millions of visitors can feel the benefits too.
That’s why the government giving local leaders the power to introduce an Overnight Visitor Levy - to raise and reinvest money in much-loved high streets, public spaces and attractions.
I spoke to @TristramHuntVA, Director of the @V_and_A what the levy could mean for tourist destinations across the country.

As anyone with a working brain knows, Democrats have no actual plan to make life affordable for American families.
But they DO have a plan for investigations, subpoenas & impeachments:
“Lawyer up.” ~ Robert Garcia (D-CA).
“We’re going to toss out subpoenas like Mardi Gras beads.” ~ Analila Mejia (D-NJ).
“They are going to need to plant new forests for all of the subpoenas we’ll be printing.” ~ Ed Markey (D-MA).
“Noem, Markwayne, Miller, Homan, Bovino, what’s up? Clear your schedule.” ~ Delia Ramirez (D-IL).
Yep. That’ll make life more affordable for working people. 🙄

The Stratton vs. Kirkpatrick feud is escalating.
Stratton tells Hannity the US has recovered "over 12" non-human craft. Kirkpatrick says the Lockheed craft stories came from people chasing money, and that AARO was told to release solved cases as "unresolved."
Two former Pentagon UAP chiefs. Two completely opposite stories. Both can't be true.
Put them side by side, under oath, in front of Congress. Let the public decide. #ufox #ufotwitter

I was accused of 'whipping up division' across Britain by a Labour Minister in Parliament today.
'Moral bankruptcy', he called it, as their MPs all cheered like performing seals desperate for yet another fish.
The calibre of politicians running our country, compared with the quality, intelligence and decency of the British people they are supposed to represent, is frankly obscene. You cannot believe it.
The lunatics aren't just running the asylum, they've broken out and somehow stormed parliament in sufficient numbers to 'run' the country.
Our people deserve so much better than this shower of arrogant, self-congratulatory, unimpressive mediocrities who have the sheer cheek to lecture the rest of us about morality.
The tragedy of modern Britain is that the people being governed are infinitely more capable than those governing them.
Replying to @Iromg
Never forget El-Sayed said your rights END where he breathes and that people need to be protected from the unvaccinated.
EL-SAYED: “The most important thing is to MANDATE those vaccines.”
“Your right to choose not to get vaccinated ENDS where the breath that you’re breathing out of your lungs is now going into my nostrils.”
This man is now a senator representing 10.1 million people, and his term won’t be up for 6 more years.

As one of the post Vatican II generation
my alienation grows the more I realise the extent of the lies we've been fed by popes, bishops, priests and teachers:
They LIED saying Vatican II inaugurated the Springtime of the Church
They LIED that a Hermeneutic of Continuity was possible regarding Vatican II
They LIED saying that the Novus Ordo Mass is a return to the ancient sources
They LIED saying the Catechism of the Catholic Church authoritatively expounds the Faith
They LIED pretending that the vast majority of bishops, priests and religious aspire to holiness
They LIED that they care about the salvation of souls
They LIED that they had renounced Satan, and all his works, and all his empty promises
They LIED when they claimed to be pro-life, but enthusiastically promoted abortion dependent jabs
They LIED when the claimed to be pro-marriage, but promote acceptance of adultery and sodomy
They LIED when they claimed to care about children, but protected and covered up paedophile cardinals, bishops and priests
It is a terrible thing to realise that you've been lied to all your life about something that is so cherished, so important
It must be like the agony of discovering the betrayal of adultery
