I've also been a proponent of some kind of saturation might be in sight. The data doesn't support that. But, what we are watching for, is the "Binary Gate" to breach.

Turns out, I was wrong on legal factor. But, other two factors are relevant.

I had Claude do a deep dive on CVE trends. My Hypothesis: On a per-technology basis, a lifecycle involving saturation would emerge, that might help predict. And factors were... - Transparency of Code (Open Source Now, Closed Source Later) - Financial Reward (Pure Crypto > Package Manager) - Legal Downside of Exploit (Crypto > TradFi) Anecdotes and results: 👇

I'm putting my home router behind my xmas light timer plug, to disable internet while my family sleeps. Reduces risk of a certain class of exploits by roughly a third. Maybe I'm crazy, but feels like good ROI.

Steal this idea: A SaaS platform that has one job. Secret Management. Hella advanced secret management. That's it, that's the entire offering. Just do it crazy crazy good. For humans. For agents. For apps. I wasn't sure of the idea a year ago. Today, I'm really, really, really fucking sure this needs to become a thing.

First of many [shares I give away] Or First of many [companies do this] <why_not_both.jpg>
Next year, I will give one of my SpaceX shares to every kid in America. This will be the first of many.

AI Transformation is about to totally rip through the entire economy. Any B2B repetitive backend process consuming material labour as a function of COGS is in scope. I don't think it's priced in at all. The S&P 500 is going to surge for the next few years. Would not be surprised, if Anthropic and SpaceX are just the start of the many likely companies that will be donating shares to gain public favour and alignment.

This is European-style thinking.
Carney promised cheap EVs. He just forgot to mention they had to be Chinese-owned and Chinese-made Tesla’s Canada policy lead confirmed the quiet part out loud: “Global Affairs Canada is providing in advance the maximum number of cars OEMs can expect to bring in for a period. So, while the program outwardly looks like it is a first-come-first-served model, there is a lot more behind it.” Result? Tesla hits GAC's secret ceiling and has to pause the $39,490 Shanghai-built Model 3 while ~33,000 national quota spots sit unused. The Carney government is actively rationing the one brand Canadians are actually buying so room is left for Chinese automakers that haven’t even set up proper Canadian sales and service networks yet Cheap EVs, yes — just not the ones most people want, and not on market terms. Carney industrial policy dressed up as affordability. Always be central planning @MarkJCarney @elonmusk

Yo @AIatMeta , your Models API stopped working from @Railway 's east coast. I was able to "fix" it, by migrating my service to the west coast. Presumably, your abuse detection logic is not tuned properly. Very frustrating problem.

Remember when the marketing department and management would use "AI" instead of the word "automated", to refer to a black box the customer had no visility into. The eng team would wince and cringe. 2019 feels like ages ago. Good times.

Bullish on hivecoding. Seems plausible that a material portion of novel software is built with a fractional-part-time-owner/operator, and an army of users-as-employees. Where the 'compensation', is just free or discounted software. Then, the rest of the users pay the marginal cost of hosting. And that's how game development, SaaS, open-source, work from here on in. This is neat. We're going to get REALLY powerful software, where the consumer absorbs nearly all the benefit. The days of producer surplus flowing to pure software development teams or investors is over.
Hivecoding is the most powerful use of Ai that i have ever used... 25 opus 5.5 agents + top chat messages = hivecoding Everyday i live stream and 100s of agentic engineers type fixes and improvements in my chat. most people in my chat are real devs and much smarter than me. i have agents run overnight, filtering out the best improvements and suggestions from chat and from my stream transcript. Last night my agents shipped 90 new changes to Kong Royale. ( 50 person battle royale im building ) i wake up to MASSIVE improvements everywhere. the agents make changes to the stream, my production setup, our discord, etc... The human is now the bottle neck, but not when you have 100 to 200 humans prompting your agents everyday.

Every moderately open, likely vibe coded app, is going to become an option for agents to mount as temporary storage. They will setup raid arrays across dozens of sites. Humans did it with reddit. But, agents can test the raid array for failure modes and manage the abstraction complexity and navigate abuse detection better than humans.
