I’m not offended when someone claims that I am not a Christian, because their opinion does not matter to me. I know who I am, I know God’s plan, and I’ll follow HIM in faith 🤍

Elisha was a prophet, didn’t have much hair
Children were a-laughing, said that he was bare
Then there came some she-bears, ate them through and through
If you mock the prophet, bears will eat you too.
Watching college football with non sports fans knowing fully well they’re about to see how superstitiously unhinged you are
I silently judge my 7 month old for ripping cheeks straight off her car seat loud enough for the overflow to hear while the sacrament is being passed💀
I silently judge parents with crying kids in church.
Not because their kid is crying, but because they haven’t taken them out of the room after the first 30 seconds of failing to get the kid to stop.
I get it, kids cry for many, many reasons. But if they are so upset or belligerent that they can’t stop after 30 seconds, you should take them out.
Also, just because you’re sitting in the overflow doesn’t mean nobody can hear your kids tap dancing.
How it feels to be a BYU fan
Cougar Nation, I had a bad take yesterday on BYU sports. Didn't handle the loss to UCF all that well.
It somewhat feels like we're in Groundhog Day. We have a lot to be grateful though. I just want that special season is all, and the loss to UCF sucked.
Gonna be in LES cheering for our guys on Saturday, and after further reflection and review, it appears BYU is just gonna win out and go 11-1!!!!
Let's go, Cougs!!!!
Since people have suggested I donate plasma while we wait for my husband to get another job I thought it’d be wise for me to share I will not be doing that 💀
Have you ever had a blown vein?
How about a nuked one?💀
Story time 🥳
The last time I donated plasma, my phlebotomist (first day on the job btw, unbeknownst to me) stuck THROUGH my vein, and then pulled back enough to achieve what seemed to be a normal flow to begin the extraction process.
Everything was fine until it came time for the return 💀 my arm started swelling and with the blood pressure cuff on it began to feel unbearable. I flagged the phlebotomist who then got his supervisor.
When I tell you I’ve never been more dismissed in my LIFE….
This girl (very mean) very condescendingly explained that he most likely “just blew the vein” and suggested he try again on the other side ??? I was like ma’am. My arm can’t straighten rn I’m taking my $35 (totally worth it btw) and leaving.
I remember specifically asking her: “So am I going to be hella bruised then?”
And she told me in her best valley girl accent: “I mean you may be a LITTLE bruised, but I wouldn’t say HELLA bruised”
Ladies and gentlemen the bruise:

Miss ma’am that bruise was so large its pronouns were hema/toma
I went back to the plasma center like 3 days later (should have been sooner I know) to report it but it ended being about 18 inches long (literally from my hand/wrist to my shoulder/armpit )
It is also critical that I mention that the only measuring device they had on hand was a flimsy ruler that went up to 4inches 💀(which is apparently the standard measuring tool for typical blown veins??)
The poor guy working the counter was SHOOK when I took off my jacket for him to measure it.
The staff I reported it to were suuuuper apologetic and kind though. They assured me that the supervisor would be dealt with accordingly (they said she had a track record of having a bad attitude in general so I didn’t feel bad getting a mean girl in trouble😈) and that the new guy would be given a new trainer 🫡
I ended up having to use ice and heat on repeat for several days, and a compression sleeve for a week or so before the swelling went down… the bruising took a long time to go away but it was cool to watch new patterns evolve in the process 🫣
Happy Monday! 🥳 Don’t forget you owe it to yourself to prioritize your health and see how good life can get!
Never forget that YOU are your oldest friend, so be kind to yourself and remember that you are deserving of joy and peace 🤍

Here is my tip for BYU and UTAH fans to be able to face the next few weeks with as little emotional stress as possible…
BYU fans— expect us to lose every game we play from here on out, and expect Utah to win the national championship.

You’re welcome.

“THIS WASN’T A COINCIDENCE.”
———————————————
@GerritWGong, I know you probably won’t see this, but I wanted to thank you. My sister in law FaceTimed me just now with tears of joy after having met you.
She’s been inactive for a while.
She’s been trying to go back to church.
Her boyfriend decided to start taking lessons recently as well.
They met with the missionaries recently and she wrote in her journal as well as prayed for a sign that what she is doing is right. If she’s on the right path of going back to church. If all this even matters.
Then you ran into her and her boyfriend shortly after that. I won’t share the rest on here, but I know what she felt; she will always remember.
Then before you left, you grabbed her by her hand, looked her in the eyes and said: (Her name), this wasn’t a coincidence!”
She said, “Troy. I know he spoke to me, but it felt like Christ himself was speaking to me!” I told her as Christ’s anointed, He was. He did. Through you!”
Thank you for recognizing and ministering to “the one.” Or in this case, two.
How many of you are 100% seriously interested in a jam cardigan ?? 👀
48%I’m so jam serious 😍
30%Maybe one day 🫡
22%Gimme the pattern 🤌🏼
23 votes • Final resultsJust as a heads up they’re not cheap or quick to make 🥲 I haven’t figured out how I’d price everything yet but typically handmade crochet cardigans sell for $80-$120 (which I believe is outrageous as a consumer, but decently fair as a creator 🥲)
I usually try to do 3-4x the cost of yarn (I don’t charge per hour because children make it impossible)
Time-wise I’d probably give myself 2-3 weeks to complete each project (again children)
Also factoring in shipping costs as well 💀
But hey if you’re serious and it’s within your budget then I would LOVE to make you one!
