An added incentive for world peace, asap. #terminator is coming. There are already kamikaze drones in use in the Russia's attempt to invade the Ukraine.
This is wild. This is NOT CGI or sped up 🤯 China's EngineAI humanoid robot just nailed the "Axe Gang" dance from Kung Fu Hustle.

Yup. Exactly this.
Replying to @Gray_Mackenzie
Pretty clear that the Conservatives are hoping media will use regional reporters who aren't as current on national issues and will therefore not press Conservative leadership as hard.

Jackie Robinson is quite literally the opposite of ‘DEI’. They’re not just evil, they’re very stupid.

Be wary of anti-media politicians. Professional media is an essential component of successful democracy. Axe the tax, now mute the media? What a hatchet job. 🪓

We basically scalped our own CBRM legal expert, creating what is likely to be much higher legal expenses at $300-500/hour using outside representation. I’ll have my work cut out for me with my CLEAR TEAM in 4 years. ;)
Mayor and Council vote to appoint Demetri Kachafanas as new CAO of CBRM.

The value of unstructured data in the enterprise is going to explode now that we can have AI Agents operate on all of our information to automate work. Excited for Box to be partnering with NVIDIA make this go even faster.
“Storage has to be completely reinvented … You just talk to it, you ask it questions, you give it problems … Box even put one up in the cloud. And it’s basically you know a super smart system.” - Jensen Huang at GTC today.

Maybe the most straightforward version of a carbon "tax" might simply be not permitting any government investment into industries that would otherwise be subject to some form of carbon pricing—I'm sure we must already see those decisions happening.

Thus, rather than a disincentive, we simply withhold incentives. There's lots of manifestations, but, at the end of the day, the primary focus of a business is sustainable and growing revenue and net profit—not improving their impact on the climate

(unless they find a way to turn that into profit too). And many people who know they'll die before it's their problem, are also willing to leave it as a challenge for their wealthy kids and grandkids.

Does Mark Carney avoid the requirement of disclosure of the *specific assets* in his blind trust since he established it prior to becoming (interim) prime minister, and holding no elected role? If so, that was certainly strategic, but will give a point for the Conservatives to hammer away at. I.e. Does his disclosure say: (a) I have a blind trust, or (b) I have a blind trust and here's what it contains (specific assets)?

It's going to be easier to learn AI tools than it is to develop good judgement or civility. Prepare for a rough ride.

If there was a desire to build a pipeline through Quebec to the Atlantic provinces, could the feds expropriate the land, and then lease it to the companies building the line? And, if so, crown land is exempt from provincial oversight, or they'd still need Quebec approval? And would the path required need to go through territory that would require consultation from indigenous communities?

USA and Canada have so much in common. Soon, we’ll have a new prime minister and both nations will then be run by a Carney|carney. #CanadaUSTradeWar

.@ProtocaseInc I agree with much of Doug's take on exercising caution with retaliatory tariffs. He's absolutely on the mark with the note about asymmetry, and with recognizing the American people are allies even if the POTUS is going off the rails on a crazy train (the last note my characterization). cbc.ca/listen/live-radio/1-2…

Braveheart said "Hold... Hold.... Hold.....!" We have to realize that when you're facing an overwhelming opponent, *timing* and *strategy* is absolutely everything. If you just run out to meet them, you're in for trouble. Leonidas I lured the enemy to a narrow pass, so as to create a bottleneck that would not allow the enemy to use their full scope of power. We can learn something from such strategies. Just remember how things ended up for both leaders, so that we're realistic with our expectations. We're facing a larger, more volatile nation in an economic dispute. We had better know when to hold and when it's time to strike in a narrow pass. #tariffs #TrumpTariffs #Canada #CanadaUSTradeWar
