America has a history of ultimately rejecting landscape-altering technological advancements like artificial intelligence. Just look at Dippin’ Dots

Usually with a new technology, its advocates will point to ways it will benefit humanity. In the case of ai, its advocates just say, “oh, well humans are resilient and we might manage to survive somehow”

AI generated music is 1000x better than real music. Today I canceled Spotify and SiriusXM because I finally tested Suno. What sold me was the first prompt I gave it: “My favorite artists are A Day to Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox, Bad Omens, and Sleep Token. Analyze all their hits and generate a song I’m likely to love based on those artists.” It one shots an absolute banger in 10 seconds. I'll link the song in the next tweet for anyone curious. Why would I ever go back to Spotify/SiriusXM when I can generate music perfectly tailored to my taste on command, for free? Not affiliated with Suno in any way btw, it was just one of those moments where I was so impressed with AI’s capability I had to say something about it.

Shameful behavior. If people aren't allowed to loot the electronic cigarette store, they will die
Photo : Radio France.

I just bought a huge bottle of Advil and took 800 mg because I got a paper cut this morning. I would have bought the generic ibuprofen because it’s cheaper but I wanted some credit card rewards.

There is a kind of person on here who says things like “ai will free us up to do things that are important to us” And you say “like make music or paint or build Lego sets?” And they say “well, no, the ai will do all of that better than you could dream of doing and humanoid robots will do the LEGO sets”

Oh, well, every analogy breaks down eventually I guess.
You see, the greatest French writer in history, Victor Hugo wrote an entire novel about how looting to feed yourself and your family is not a crime or personal failing, but a fundamental flaw of a corrupt system that gives you no other choice

If a) almost everyone is about to lose their job to the ai, b) most companies are about to lose almost all their customers and go out of business. Because b) cannot be allowed to happen, a) will not happen

I still don’t believe Texas will elect a strongly Calvinist Presbyterian like James Talarico. But judging from the increasingly desperate Paxton texts, their campaign thinks it might happen

Rioting and protesting is of course a time-honored tradition in France. The only difference now is the Frenchmen are sitting in that chair in the corner watching it happen.
This has nothing to do with immigration you massive piece of shit
