Drop your craziest chant Jets fans should shout at Connor Hellebuyck when he returns to Winnipeg 🗣️👇

By missing training camp without permission, Hellebuyck's Cap Hit is reduced to $8.1M this season.
The #NJDevils currently have $8.2M Current Cap Space available, so when his suspension is lifted, they will have sufficient space without requiring a roster move.

Sabres fans... How are you feeling about not getting Connor Hellebuyck?
Disappointed, or happy you didn't land him?

Seeing lots saying the Jets got burned bad on this trade.
This is a goalie trade afterall, folks.
This is the most a goalie has been traded for in 10-20 years.
The Roy trade in '95, Andersen traded for an immediate 1st and 2nd in '16 and perhaps Luongo for Markstrom trade in '14 (worked out after the fact... Markstrom wasn't very good in Florida) rival it.
For a 33 yo goalie (who has been one of the best but is showing some signs of decline), who sat and took a suspension to start the year and lost money because he wasn't going to play for that team/country anymore.
I mean... given the circumstance... pretty good.

We have acquired:
🏒 F Dawson Mercer
🏒 F Alexander Command
🏒 G Nico Daws
🏒 F Nick Bjugstad
🔢 and two draft picks
Now THAT is a return. Jets get a young player to help with their depth now, a 12th overall pick, and a 2nd in 2029.
I definitely overvalued Helle at points and admit to doing that... But some of the offers we were seeing for him on this app were a complete joke 😂
