JAMA Internal Medicine revela que las tripulaciones de vuelo presentan la mayor proporción ajustada de muertes por cánceres relacionados con la radiación entre las ocupaciones analizadas.
🔎 Conceptos clave:
- 🌌 Radiación cósmica: Las tripulaciones acumulan aproximadamente 3–6 mSv anuales durante sus vuelos.
- 📈 Riesgo ocupacional: Los certificados de defunción (2020–2024) muestran que auxiliares de vuelo y pilotos encabezan la clasificación, con porcentajes ajustados cercanos al 7 %.
- ☀️ Factores múltiples: Además de la radiación ionizante, podrían influir la exposición a rayos UV-A y las alteraciones del ritmo circadiano. El estudio NO permite establecer causalidad ni separar sus efectos.
💡Medir individualmente las dosis acumuladas de radiación, las horas de vuelo y las rutas (polares frente a ecuatoriales) permitiría evaluar mejor los riesgos y orientar las medidas de protección laboral.

🤒 Comienza con fiebre, tos, secreción nasal y ojos enrojecidos, seguidos de una erupción cutánea característica.
⚠️ Puede causar complicaciones graves:
🫁 Neumonía.
🧠 Encefalitis.
🏥 Hospitalización.
💔 Incluso la muerte.
👶 Los niños pequeños y las personas inmunodeprimidas son especialmente vulnerables.
💉 LA VACUNACIÓN ES FUNDAMENTAL.

La universitat ho va anunciar el 3 de juliol, però aquest dimecres ha estat el seu últim dia a la UB.
