The story of recreating my 2017 electric motorcycle trip from Land's End to John O'Groats to Skaw, but this time with @KateFantom, on a pair of DC rapid-charging Energica EVA Ribelle bikes. Nearly 2000 all-electric miles. #lejogskaw

Ahh, the CRS are far more restrained than they used to be back in the day.
Graphic footage, with little narration, from major French TV channel of the appalling violence, destruction, anarchy in the centre of Paris last Saturday. Worth watching from beginning to end.
The French Left/Unions demanding resignations at the channel because it only depicts violence and doesn’t provide ‘context’!

For too long, confident spoken communication has been kept for the few. Now, it will be the right of every child.

Stephen Kinnock’s claim that there were no boat people because we were in the European Union is a straightforward lie. Illegal immigrants flooded in by lorry, train and cars. They disappeared into towns/cities and couldn’t be properly counted. When advances in technology made these methods of transport much harder to use the illegal migrants took to boats, courtesy of the people smugglers. Since the boats are usually interdicted on arrival the counting is easier. Nothing to do with being in or out of the EU.

Of course Russia interfered in Brexit
Who doesn't remember when Putin said we would go to "the back of the queue" if we didn't vote for it.

My vote on Brexit was affected by disinformation. I voted Remain because I was told if Leave won there would be terrible consequences.
The BoE Governor told me he would raise interest rates - he lowered them.
The Chancellor said he'd have an emergency budget - he didn't.
The Treasury said unemployment would go up - it went down.
Goldman Sachs and others said they would pull out of Britain - they spent billions on new HQs
The Chief Executive of the NHS Alliance said there would be an epidemic of super-gonorrhoea.
As for foreign interference - The EU, the US and Irish Presidents etc etc all weighed in on the side of Remain.

Bigamy is illegal in the UK under section 11 of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973.
It doesn't matter how many times we've seen it historically, some people, like Tucker Carlson here, just don't grasp the reality that the physical size of a country is not indicative of its economic or indeed military prowess.

I have seen this at a high academic level and have said nothing. Yet it is very, perhaps existentially, important.
My latest article is about how a rogue Wikipedia editor confabulated and misattributed thousands of inventions and concepts to Muslims
This trolling made its way into blogs, articles, books, and TV programs. You might even believe some of his lies!

Accurate.
I constantly have to explain to people from abroad why British politics is the way it is.
So here’s a TL;DR summary.
> The UK is highly conservative, especially England
> The political class was completely captured by left liberal ideology
> So the mainstream “right wing” party kept promising conservative policies.. but then gave us unprecedented waves of immigration, asylum and woke institutional takeover
> They blamed the high immigration on our membership of the EU, so pressure built and they gave us a rigged referendum in which the government literally posted every household a flyer saying “don’t do it, it will be terrible”
> we voted Brexit anyway - because we wanted lower immigration, desperately
> They ramped non-EU, 3rd world immigration up by orders of magnitude to the highest levels in history to punish us and to squash Covid inflation by lowering wages while pumping their own property portfolios
> Eventually, we’d had enough.. but there was no other serious movement on the right yet.. so we punished them with a historically low vote, removing them from power
> This meant the mainstream left wing party won by default. But quickly realised all their ideas had been implemented..
> So now all they do is tinker at the edges and brutally crack down on anyone deemed to be problematic to the race communism revolution / replacement program
So here we are.. patiently waiting for 2029 for our next vote.. as if in an orderly queue.. with a party in power that is the antithesis of what the majority of British people actually want.
Meanwhile the right is so unbelievably frustrated that it has fractured into 3 parties
1) the original conservatives “we’re sorry we will definitely lower immigration this time”
2) Reform : “anyone can be British as long as it’s legal - we just want to grow the economy and stop the illegals”
3) Restore : “millions must go”
I hope you’ve enjoyed my intro to British politics.

In Yorkshire, they christen puppies in the pub and tell them not to chase after livestock.
But this is a far right fantasy that definitely never happens.

"The European Commission will propose a major overhaul of how the EU takes decisions to bypass national vetoes"
You glad we left yet? As I sure as hell am.
The European Commission will propose a major overhaul of how the EU takes decisions to bypass national vetoes and introduce new rule-of-law safeguards as it seeks to incorporate additional members, such as Montenegro and Albania.
