It's the unofficial fan translation of Grim Fandango: Remastered! in Greek! 🇬🇷 🥳
More info here: github.com/iokaravas/Grim-Fa…
I just wish the translation does justice to @TimOfLegend's amazingly written dialogue 🥰
The #Greek fonts used, were made by @Cyberela 🤯

Been a frontend developer for years but I want to learn more about 2D game programming.
Haven't touched C++ since college. This is my first attempt at a bouncing logo screensaver using #SDL 3.
Any pointers?

No AI. I want to think for myself and learn.
When I was a kid I remember wanting a SEGA Saturn and getting a PolyStation, the good thing is
I could still have *some* fun the bad thing is it still wasn’t what I wanted and it sucked.
The real thing will always be the real thing.
Necessity is the mother of invention right? AI cloning of games and software won’t last long. Every software company on the planet is likely scrambling to figure out how to avoid this. To have their code base be somehow…. not copy-able. I’m curious what the solution is. But I think there’s gonna be some crazy piracy innovation coming soon. Somehow having code that is impossible to copy will perhaps be the next big innovation. Am I missing something?

Been thinking “imagine if <thing> made 4+ years ago was made during this cursed AI era” and it’s making me sad.
Take your favourite videogame, program, etc. and imagine if there it was vibeslopped instead.
Without the care, without the passion, just pure ignorance and greed.
I find Zelda: BOTW fun but also frustrating because I can’t find what is the next sensible thing to do and life is too busy for me to just explore and fail multiple times for no apparent reason;
Is there a guide I could use that won’t take much away from the experience?
This year I'm taking part in this amazing program!
💫 Five more grantees, five more unique journeys, and so many exciting possibilities ahead!

Unpopular opinion, if the game is not boring, I don't feel like I want to fast forward?

After the latest game industry news I have a *bold* fresh gaming platform idea:
Instead of everyone buying expensive hardware, we build shared local game terminals in social spaces!
A physical place full of game machines!!!
WE'LL CALL IT " THE ARCADE " 🙃

Tonight I breakdown why Sony's deciding to KILL game discs NOW, how PS6 will be affected, and outline how Sony can be forced to backtrack!🔥
BTW, many Game Devs are actually NOT happy about this according to people I've spoken with behind the scenes...

In response to trends in the gaming industry, as of April 1st 2027, I will stop going to Square Enix to work physically and appear digitally only.
Employees will be able to download the Tetsuya Nomura APP on their devices with my code 42069 and have me tell them what to do.
To people saying digital-only is ok, last week this happened:
I couldn't finish reading a book because Everand locked me out after sub ended- Spotify wouldn’t play on my audio system for some reason.
Ended up reading an old DRM-free PDF I owned and playing a vinyl, instead.

I keep thinking @DoubleFine atm feels like Glottis getting sick from being away from "speed" too long.
Genuinely loved Keeper and Kiln but DF's "speed" is @TimOfLegend 's games.
I think... we need the rocket sled!
We need Tim's new adventure!
my jaw is on the floor. wait for the ending. biggest W literally.
A lot of people asked for the full AAA Mario video to be dubbed over in the same way, but I wanted to wait for a good idea to come to me. 6 months later, here it is. Focus, M.

Peter Jackson laments the death of physical media:
“You can get Blu-rays and DVDs, but they’re almost a niche product for aficionados now,” Jackson said. “Since they only sell small numbers, no studio wants to put extended features on them or to extend the cuts. We did hours and hours of behind-the-scenes material for The Lord of the Rings DVDs, and so many people have thanked me for doing them. People would watch that stuff over and over again because it inspired them to make films. That’s all gone now, and I think it’s a real shame.”
Do you still get real books and DVDs?
