Replying to @EdrineKMusic
@EdrineKMusic inspired our guests with how her artistic journey helped her fulfil her potential, and how she uses her voice to lift other girls. ๐๐ญ ๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ข๐ข, ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ ๐ข๐ซ๐ฅ ๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐ ๐ ๐ข๐๐ญ. ๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฉ ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ญ

When the great tree falls, do not immediately watch the branches.
Watch the people who once sat beneath its shade.
Some will mourn the tree. Others will measure the timber.
The birds that built their nests there will suddenly find another tree. The hands that were fed by its fruit will forget who planted it. Old grudges will emerge from the forest, dressed as tradition, duty and concern.
And while everyone argues over what belonged to the tree, look for the woman sitting quietly beside its roots.
She remembers when it was only a seed.
She watered it before it gave shade. Protected it before it bore fruit. Stood beside it through every storm. She loved it when there was absolutely nothing to inherit.
Yet when the tree falls, even she may discover that those who once bowed before its branches have no difficulty stepping over its roots.
That is the cruel lesson of death:
Some people loved the tree.
Others only loved the shade.
Time eventually tells the difference.

Thank you, Queen Mother Akiiki @QueenOlimi, for your grace, strength, and extraordinary heart.
Your son, our beloved King Oyo, was a reflection of the mother who raised him, your goodness, faith, love, and devotion to people.
To see you carry unimaginable grief and still choose love over anger and hope over despair is deeply moving.
May God hold you and Princess Ruth close and give you strength. We grieve with you, we stand with you, and we will never forget King Oyo. His legacy will live on.

Let's learn Lingala.
"Ngai na mbongo" is a Lingala phrase that directly translates to "me and money" or "I and money."
Examples in Context:
Nazali na mbongo: I have money.
Naza na mbongo te: I don't have money.
