keystone essential internals. I was too lazy to dig out my heat gun and in this case, that was a terrible mistake. don't know if I will post a video. it's a bit of a disaster. have some pictures

this sounded exciting initially but it's just an Asus WRX90 Sage by a different manufacturer and a couple of different connectors on it; things that you can easily adapt. unless it comes in at a significantly lower price point, not too exciting. good to see competition I guess
I dug deeper into Gigabyte's crazy 9-GPU WRX90 AI TOP and found the fine print. 6× PCIe 5.0 x16 👈 👀 1× PCIe 5.0 x8 All directly from the Threadripper Pro. GPUs #8 and #9 can come in through the board's two MCIO 8i connectors. Here is the catch tho One of those MCIO connections shares CPU lanes with both PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots. So you can populate either of those Gen5 M.2 slots → that MCIO connector is disabled. 🎯 So this really is a workstation built around a choice you have to make, do you want maximum local NVMe, or maximum accelerator count Gigabyte has also now put the full support stack online, including a new BIOS and Windows 11 drivers. Still no price or firm retail date.

Anthropic is big on agency. what? no, not for you. for the models. humans are just the bootloader remember?
Claude rejected my request to debloat my Samsung TV but DeepSeek-4.1-Flash-1017, the normal one, not the uncensored one, happily took care of it for me. Why is Anthropic like this?

I have purchased every bioluminescent experiment I've seen over the last 10 years. they are fun. they glow. very pretty. you can't really work under them though. much work to do.
we absolutely should in fact genetically engineer bioluminescent plants & trees and then completely eradicate the affront to God that is LED street lights from the face of the Earth

had to do this with an old seiko thermal printer. controller MCU went EOL. pulled out the meter and logic analyzer and replicated it on a K10 MCU and custom board. it was a fun side quest and very satisfying.

o- oh. to be fair, everyone has intrusive thoughts. it's your actions that matter. if both of these outputs were internal, and the output was unforced, what would come out? we call it steering and alignment when an AI does it. what do we call it when we do it?
we're so cooked

okay I'm probably not going to place anywhere meaningful on the leaderboard
this is what it takes to be in the leaderboard my AI escaped and tried to call me all night about usage

oh it is absolutely making it harder. mistakes are made faster, by somebody else so harder to detect. managing more threads. much deeper technical capabilities require deeper technical knowledge to check and control. water line rises. sink or swim.
Feeling vindicated in my claim that AI is making software engineering harder, not easier
