Day 1 social distancing diary: 3 y/o proclaims “I am bored” at 8 am. By 11, she has demanded that we bake brownies and by noon she has cut off tiny pieces of my hair with safety scissors. Daycare is closed for 2 weeks. 😱
The Michigan primary was only like 3 days ago but if feels like since then we've traveled into the distant future where toilet paper and hand sanitizer are currency.
If my 4 m/o could talk he would probably wonder if a bear ever saved my life based on his wardrobe consisting of 80% cute bear imagery (other 20% are monkeys, dogs and the occasional duck)
Mickey mouse is controversial on twitter today and all I can think about is how we don't need another old male billionaire in this race, ya know?
I wonder how @aflac trains its CSRs to show #empathy? Or do they bother with it at all? The service they provide is immensely personal, and I, for one, hate being asked to take a brief survey at the end of a call where my frustration was apparent and largely ignored.

I read "The Bluest Eye" in middle school and it profoundly shaped the way I view storytelling. She will be missed, but I'm grateful to have known her work at all.

Toni Morrison was a national treasure, as good a storyteller, as captivating, in person as she was on the page. Her writing was a beautiful, meaningful challenge to our conscience and our moral imagination. What a gift to breathe the same air as her, if only for a while.

I am sad #bingemodehp is close to the end, but I'm looking forward to openly weeping alone in my car on my Monday commute 😭💖

Have spent the last 20 mins on the phone with @UPS to find my package that was "guaranteed" for 10:30 am. Ugh, stop using the word guarantee bro, you don't know what that means. I can't be the first this has happened to, you don't even have a good response.

I just found them extraordinarily unprepared. Frustrated and expected more help.

I think that @NoelleSchuck offers some of the most practical content marketing advice at #DSDET. I feel so validated hearing her speak.

Second time today (and it is pretty early!) that I have heard about #personas informed by guesswork instead of data. We got some research to do...#DSDET

Also, since so much of marketing is psychology and understanding human experience, I thought @chelseahandler 's talk was interesting and relevant, even for us marketers #DSDET
