Remember Labour MP Rachael Maskell, the politician who demanded St George Cross flags be ripped down from lampposts across York?
This is the exact same champagne socialist who lectured working class Brits to accept longer NHS waiting times for migrants, before throwing a massive tantrum when they tried housing them near her own backyard.
Now, a local resident has been dragged through York Magistrates Court and handed a criminal sentence simply for hanging an English flag near the city walls calling her a buzzkill!
Maskell actually claimed that displaying our national flag to protest her anti English stance made her feel threatened by political violence.
While violent knife carriers walk free without jail time, displaying the flag of England to mock an elected politician will get you hauled before a judge.

* Shell has profited by £9.4bn in a year
The MEN at the top:
* John Pettigrew, boss of National Grid received £6.5m bonus on top of his salary
* Chris O’Shea, chief executive of British Gas owner Centrica was paid almost £2m last year in salary and benefits
* Centrica's non-executive directors were paid almost £1m
* Scottish Power's CEO Keith Anderson is on £1.15m.
* E.On boss Michael Lewis is on £1m
* EDF's Simone Rossi is also on £1m
* And their top execs enjoyed a share of £4.65m
* Peter Simpson of Anglian Water earned a £1.3m pay package
* Welsh Water bosses awarded themselves bonuses of over £930,000
* Severn Trent bosses awarded themselves bonuses of £5.56m

* Elderly people NOT DRINKING because they're worried about running out of water!!!
All this and energy prices are set to rise up to 75% in October...
THIS IS MADNESS!.. I'm all for supporting profits … I'm not for supporting greed at the cost of lives of others.
Something needs to change.
Why is customers' money being used to make life more comfortable for those who are making life more intolerable for the rest of us?
I actually don't understand how the energy companies are allowed to get away with this and why the government aren't stopping them instead of handing out money.....

The dumbest thing I did was be a 'good boy' for my entire working life: work hard and pay my taxes. 45 years of being systematically and arbitrarily robbed by criminals, some wearing blue ties, some wearing red, and even some sporting a splash of yellow.
I now struggle to pay my bills in retirement and I am still being fleeced via tax by the same clowns.
Meanwhile, these crooks choose to send cash abroad, squander it on insane initiatives such as 'net zero' and DEI, pay themselves tidy expenses, fund wars, and welcome with open arms anyone illegally entering the country, people they are happy to spend billions of pounds on whilst simultaneously making those of us who paid a fair whack into the system, struggle.
People often ask me why I don't vote any more ... and I think it should be fairly obvious. None of these 'senior politicians', across all parties, have any interest in the wellbeing of the common man or woman. They are only interested in their own self-promotion and pressing ahead with whatever harebrained agendas they support whilst in power.
It's only the window dressing that changes ... what awaits in the shop is always the same bullshit that shafts the good, honest folk of this country.
