Lost my father. Great Clemson man. Bob Mahoney was one of the last to talk to him. One of his last washes was to see the progress at the stadium. Pray for a cure for cancer! 💔

The only thing I can guarantee about Tuesday is that, regardless of the outcome, neither party will learn a damn thing.

Miami’s had a game where their opponent caught back-to-back Hail Marys and a game where their opponent recovered back-to-back onside kicks and all four plays were called back to benefit Miami. Never seen anything like it in my entire life.

Late night tweet: College football seems like its at some sort of weird inflection point. Half empty stadiums. Season success solely defined by the plauoff. Roster churn has made even well-coached teams sloppy Not sure the sport is in a better place than it was 5 years ago🤷‍♂️

I can hear on TV South Carolina’s band playing their fight song in Norman, Oklahoma after Sellars’ TD run. They are what we used to be. @ClemsonFB

Clemson in the 2000s was the only school in the country to hire a HC w/ no HC or coordinator experience Clemson in the 2010s was the only non-state school to win a CFP and/or a natty. & they won 6 CFP games in the hardest era to do it. & won multiple natties vs the GOAT Clemson in the 2020s was the only P4 to not take a transfer. And did it multiple years. Then finally did. And in 2026 is the only school in the country where the offense has less TDs than the defense and special teams Dabo’s career has been fascinating with unprecedented highs and unprecedented lows.

Nobody is mad at Chad. Staying at the facility until midnight won’t change the jimmies & joes. This is a roster construction issue. The personnel was decided unilaterally in January by one person.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney: "We've got good coaches. Like, Chad Morris? I know his name is mud right now, but this guy's a great coach, a great collaborator. ... This guy knows ball." Says their staff was in the building working until 11:30 p.m. last night

True
I don’t even understand the language anymore. “Building” is adapting, and Dabo has no control over whether big chunks of the team leave after this season. Then what? What are you then building? It’s like continuing to invest in Enron after it’s already gone bankrupt.

Tiger Nation…we got a chance to do a little good here. A special needs student lost his mother in a house fire. He is currently living with one of his teachers. Any support you guys can give is greatly appreciated! Link below. #Clemson #AllIn #ClemsonFootball

You have to laugh at some point 😂
Clemson’s defense and special teams have scored 78 points. Clemson’s offense has scored 72. According to @4thQuarterCFB00, Clemson is the only team in the country whose D/ST have outscored its offense.

I don’t blame Chad Morris for the mess this year. The offense was a mess last year & w/Streeter as well. Tait is having to adjust to speed & read defenses, didn’t even play senior year.
It's been a rough few weeks behind the scenes for Chad Morris and the rest of the offensive staff. The public blistering from Dabo Swinney on Saturday night was only a continuation of it. More on that here: on3.com/sites/tiger-illustra…

He was always determined to win at Clemson. teapawt.org/pff/status/21145118303…

On the third day of January, Dabo Swinney opened a staff meeting with a message: Stop asking me about going to the portal for a quarterback. We have what we need there. Inside the fallout from that and other roster-management decisions from the head coach: on3.com/sites/tiger-illustra…

Browns win. Titans lose. Everyone is a loser.

Those were miserable times! Hatfield nor West had a blank checkbook or incredible facilities which had been afforded to Dabo.
Clemson is now 2-8 in last 10 games in Death Valley vs. Power 4 programs. There is no historical precedence in the last 50 years for similar futility at home. For perspective during previous terrible stretches: Between '92-'95 there was a stretch we went 5-5 at home vs. Power 4. Between '97-'99 there was a stretch we went 4-6 at home vs. Power 4. In both of those time frames, head coaches were fired (Ken Hatfield and Tommy West)

Thank you for finally just saying what a lot of people feel right now. It is actually really sad because he is a good man and has done so much for Clemson University and the community.
2025 after Duke loss from Coach Swinney “If Clemson’s tired of winning, they can send me on my way, but I’m gonna go somewhere else and coach.” Since that day, Clemson is 5-4 vs. Power 4 teams. Coach, I don't pretend to speak for the Clemson fanbase.... But it's not the winning I'm tired of. It's the losing.

And to be fair to both of those other eras, there was no quick fix. You had to recruit and wait a few years to see improvement. During this current span, we CHOSE to be who we are on offense. We could have gone to portal to get QB's and OL's and we CHOSE not to. You can lose football games, everyone does. But you can't go 2-8 at home. Especially when you had a CHOICE to make changes to your personnel and did not.
