They put the call out to get every right winger in their phones to defend Danielle because her base is livid, rising associations are passing motions of non-confidence and her MLAs are walking away from her government.
I’ve been seeing a lot of people saying “the UCP haven’t done anything good” or “let the NDP take over, they are no worse” or even “the UCP and NDP are all the same.” I want to list just a few of the things that the UCP have done since Premier @ABDanielleSmith came to leadership and remind you that it could be really bad under the NDP. No matter what we do, going back to the damaging and destructive policies of the NDP cannot be accepted.

Money laundering. The RCMP is actively investigating money laundering at the heart of the Corrupt Care scandal.
More and more is coming to light in the CorruptCare scandal. We demand Danielle Smith call a public inquiry, NOW. This involves at least $614,000,000 of Albertans' money at a time many people are struggling to find a doctor and get timely surgeries. We all deserve transparency and accountability.

One year ago today, Danielle Smith and the UCP stripped 51,000 teachers of their fundamental human rights. We’ve heard that the problems they were fighting to fix — underfunding, overcrowding and a lack of support for complexity — have not improved. The Alberta NDP stands with every educator, parent and student in this province who’s demanding better education.

We’ve been demanding a public inquiry for over a year. Danielle Smith and the UCP keep refusing. Why? What are they afraid a public inquiry might uncover?

that's not what the referendum question read, although the Premier's office somehow thinks it was to elect judges. and: it failed.
It was pleasure to join Canada Strong and Free Network to discuss our country’s judicial system. Canada’s activist judges need to depoliticize themselves or else be held accountable to the standard an elected official is. @canstrongfree

What does Shane Getson know about fraud, money laundering and breach of trust that he up and quit his job a year early?

such transparency. such openness from this government. not even a news release from their caucus.
Alberta UCP MLA Shane Getson has officially resigned his seat. (Much speculation about who it was that resigned, and Getson was high — but not too high — on my list.)

👀 weird that government has made no announcements.
Replying to @louarab2026
Maybe it's a coincidence, but Shane Getson will be removed from all legislative committees, according to tomorrow's Order Paper. Perhaps he'll be promoted to minister of something something

I’m saddened to see an Edmonton institution like BioWare closing its doors. BioWare was founded in Edmonton in 1995 and became internationally famous for games including Baldur's Gate, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Dragon Age, and Mass Effect. Our thoughts are especially with the employees who have lost their jobs and the families affected by this closure.
