My heart is broken for the 2nd time in the last 2 months…..we’ve lost another @LSU legend….the man that took @LSUBasketball to a different place during his time as the Head Coach. He changed my life and touched countless people. Coach Dale Brown….I love you coach. RIP #DaddyDale #4everLSU

Coach Dale Brown was so much more than my coach, boss, and mentor—he was like a father to me.
He taught me lessons that went far beyond the game of basketball, preparing me for life with his wisdom, leadership, and unwavering belief in me. I’m forever grateful.

Dale Brown was a legendary coach, an inspirational motivator, and a dear friend who will be sadly missed.
Dale might be best known as a great basketball coach at LSU, but he had the warmest heart, truly cared for the less fortunate, and treated everybody with dignity and respect. From humble beginnings, he achieved great things, yet never changed who he was and how he treated others.
He will be deeply missed. Jennifer and I will keep Dale and his family in our prayers.
